"Streamlined" caught my eye because I have complained that some clothing makers have started cutting T-shirts bigger. Even though I didn't particularly need T-shirts, I bought some and love these! I've put some mass on my upper body because of a better regimen of strength training but but my entire body hasn't put on a total of 5 pounds and I'm still wearing older t-shirt of similar style and size. The other issue is that despite there being very little synthetic in the fabric's weave the heat is considerable. I buy cotton for it's breathable quality. One shirt lists 10% polyester and the other is supposed to be 100% cotton. These shirts were listed as 100% cotton but both are equally air trapping and hot. Even if the sizing has changed the lack of breathability is an issue. I can still wear them and will continue to but this is probably the last time I'll be buying them. Jockey used to be the best combed cotton fabric line but something has changed and despite almost 30 years of this customer's appreciation it's for what was and not what it has become. At 52 I know I'm not as lean as I used to be but I'm also not a guy who let his gut sag. For this line to turn it's back on the excellent fabric it used to advertise with pride and fall back on cheap synthetics is a sad reflection on our times. Get back to better fabric and give me a shout when you do. I've put some mass on my upper body because of a better regimen of strength training but but my entire body hasn't put on a total of 5 pounds and I'm still wearing older t-shirt of similar style and size. The other issue is that despite there being very little synthetic in the fabric's weave the heat is considerable. I buy cotton for it's breathable quality. One shirt lists 10% polyester and the other is supposed to be 100% cotton. These shirts were listed as 100% cotton but both are equally air trapping and hot. Even if the sizing has changed the lack of breathability is an issue. I can still wear them and will continue to but this is probably the last time I'll be buying them. Jockey used to be the best combed cotton fabric line but something has changed and despite almost 30 years of this customer's appreciation it's for what was and not what it has become. At 52 I know I'm not as lean as I used to be but I'm also not a guy who let his gut sag. For this line to turn it's back on the excellent fabric it used to advertise with pride and fall back on cheap synthetics is a sad reflection on our times. Get back to better fabric and give me a shout when you do. The fit is slim and snug, the feel is soft, and I especially like the wider neck band, which sets this shirt apart from Jockey's classic t-shirt. After my first purchase, I bought even more of them. "Streamlined" caught my eye because I have complained that some clothing makers have started cutting T-shirts bigger. Even though I didn't particularly need T-shirts, I bought some and love these! I've put some mass on my upper body because of a better regimen of strength training but but my entire body hasn't put on a total of 5 pounds and I'm still wearing older t-shirt of similar style and size. The other issue is that despite there being very little synthetic in the fabric's weave the heat is considerable. I buy cotton for it's breathable quality. One shirt lists 10% polyester and the other is supposed to be 100% cotton. These shirts were listed as 100% cotton but both are equally air trapping and hot. Even if the sizing has changed the lack of breathability is an issue. I can still wear them and will continue to but this is probably the last time I'll be buying them. Jockey used to be the best combed cotton fabric line but something has changed and despite almost 30 years of this customer's appreciation it's for what was and not what it has become. At 52 I know I'm not as lean as I used to be but I'm also not a guy who let his gut sag. For this line to turn it's back on the excellent fabric it used to advertise with pride and fall back on cheap synthetics is a sad reflection on our times. Get back to better fabric and give me a shout when you do. "Streamlined" caught my eye because I have complained that some clothing makers have started cutting T-shirts bigger. Even though I didn't particularly need T-shirts, I bought some and love these!
