I ordered the size I normally wear, but it seemed too small once I was able to get it on. I'm hourglass shaped and trying to get the top over either my shoulders or hips was nearly impossible. It's very stiff and doesn't have a lot of stretch to allow it to be put on. Once I had it on it was very uncomfortable.
