This bra is not lined enough to do that, but I can wear it under other clothes. I also wanted a bra to wear in hot weather. I hope this bra will be cool and ventilating; have not tried it in hot weather yet. It looks nice and is well-made. I used your size chart to estimate my size, and the bra is a little tight, but may stretch a little with wear. The bras i needed after breast augmentation were to be soft, lightweight, no underwire and supportive and I feel this crop top was good.
