It's really light and the fabric is smooth and breathes against your skin. I have worn it for several different workouts - on a run, on a walk, elliptical at the gym, and doing some stretching/pilates at home. For working out on the elliptical &amp; walking, these were awesome because they kept me really cool and were easy to move in. Same for stretching and while I did pilates. During the run, they tended to ride up on me, which was not comfortable, but almost all my running shorts do this unfortunately!
