Beats a bra band digging into your thoracic wall and straps digging into your shoulders. For someone with a slightly larger bust, it is not flattering under form fitting clothes but is great under loose tops. Is just the right length. Beware - the lace edge one is NOT this with added lace... stick to this one. I got it in mahogany because that was the only color available - would have much preferred black - nude, shell pink, white. The only problem was it rolled up from the bottom. The neck,arm openings and bottom are not finished so I don't know how long that will last. May also be the reason it rolls up.
