BEST FULL COVERAGE BRIEFS ON THE MARKET
One review stated "Who knew underwear could be fun?"
I DEFINITELY DID . . .
Another reviewer wrote "The horizontal fly on the inside
was very uncomfortable and awkward for him"
I TOTALLY DISAGREE

When it all comes down yo Jockey Full Coverage Briefs
with the inverted (upside down) Y design, they are the
Ultimate Fashion Statement in Men's underclothes.
The quality of the fabric, the way that I feel when I am wearing them, and the way they fit my physique are ALL
reasons why I keep these on auto-delivery. They are also FUN to wear as well as being photographed in. (Yes . . .
I do model for print advertising locally). Jockey Full Coverage Briefs with the Inverted Y design on the outside
and the Horizontal Fly on the inside combine to give me
total comfort and superb functionality . . . They are great for any and all daily routine activities including traveling, sleeping, and raking leaves or mowing the lawn . . . Just to name a few. They are available in packages of 3 pairs and a variety of Fashion Colors, too. The only time I am NOT wearing these is when I am working out or at a stadium.

A Reliable Classic
Can't go wrong with these if all you want is a solid set of white briefs at a reasonable price. I have bought these for years and they have remained consistent in quality, fit and value. Jockey is certainly a brand you can count on.

This is truly a Classic brief.
Switched from boxers to briefs in 1981 and the brand I chose was Jockey Classics - over 34 years of comfort and style. True, I have purchased other brands (Hanes, FOTL, BVD's, Calvin Klein, etc.) but I always come back to the Classic brief.

I wear jockey underwear, t shirts, and sleep shorts exclusively and have done so for most of my life. I am 68. I have tried other brands over the years but always come back to Jockey. Your clothing is affordable, comfortable, durable and consistent in quality. When I buy Jockey, I know what I am going to get and I like it.

Size label in current briefs states "large." What number size does this equate?
A shopper on Aug 27, 2014

Jockey® Classic Brief - 5 Pack
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The primary difference is that our style 9995 features a 5 pack quantity, and our style 9017 features a 6 pair quantity. The price for the 9995 is reduced because it features the old packaging that we're clearancing. Hope this helps!

BEST ANSWER: The pack I received was all solid colors. Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 3 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 3 Pack
BEST ANSWER: Hi Stepehen, the style number 9017 and 9950 are the same garment. We are currently clearancing the 9017 (the 6 pack) because we are focusing more on the 3 packs then the 6 packs. I would suggest picking up the 9017 with the reduced price. With prices like that they are going to fly off the shelfs!
size small? why does Jockey not make size small (28-30) pouch briefs or classic/low rise classic briefs?

Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Pouch Brief - 3 Pack
Jockey® Pouch Brief - 3 Pack
Jockey® Classic Low-rise Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Low-rise Brief - 6 Pack
BEST ANSWER: Thank you so much for your question. Unfortunately, there is not as much of a demand for a size Small as there is for the other sizes, so we have limited the number of styles we offer in a size Small. I have made a suggestion to our design team that we start manufacturing this size again because there is a demand for it. They often do rely on the feedback and suggestions we receive from customers to determine which styles and sizes we should produce.
Are these solid colored briefs?
A shopper on Sep 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, yes these are solid colored briefs. The waistband will always be white even on the colored briefs. The brief itself is not patterned.
I'm looking at the style 9017 men's briefs. I do not like the low rise or the full rise styles. I want what used to be the standard rise brief. Is this the style 9017?
Charles W on Dec 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the standard rise and full rise are the same rise and the low rise is signifigantly lower in the rise. We do not currently offer a mid rise garment.
I bought a 3 pack and they shrunk a lot?
Does this usually happen?
A shopper on Sep 8, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, we do not use pre-shrunk or condensed cotton, typically a garment will shrink 10-14% after the first 3 washings. Even thogh the product does shrink we do account for this in production and they should fit perfectly after they are washed. Please call one of our personal shoppers at 1-800-562-5391 to return or exchange the garment.

They are a size large and i'm a 33" waist which according to the size chart here should be fine. very disappointing for such a name brand. we purchased the classic briefs, in black, red, blue-striped and gray in color. Why can we not use fabric softener?
A shopper on Jul 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry, we do not suggest using fabric softener because it clogs the fabrics and it prevent the moisture from escaping the fabric. It can also cause discoloration because sweat will get trapped in the fabric.

High rise briefs?
A shopper on Jun 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I never tried the High rise briefs.

For best results, wear the Jockey classic briefs INSIDE OUT.
It puts the irritating tag on the outside.
In the front, it puts the internal flap on the outside to prevent any annoying "snags" with the male anatomy.
Also, never soak the briefs in bleach. At most, spot treat any stains on the fabric. However, bleach attacks the elastic and reduces its usable life substantially.
Does the high rose brief come in a "tall" ??

Thanks
A shopper on Feb 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: NO
what is the rise on these briefs?
A shopper on Nov 16, 2014

A shopper on Nov 10, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No, this item does not have a stitched label. All labels are printed on the garment.

I always had men's size '"medium" jockey underwear. What number size corresponds to medium?
A shopper on Feb 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! Our men's size medium is designed for a waist measurement of 32 to 34 inches. As a result, you would want to select one of those two size offerings, based on your own personal comfort. You can find our full men's size chart at the following link:

is there a difference between these and the stay cool brief if so what?
A shopper on Dec 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the staycool collection is different because it has a temperature regulating feature to it. Also, it has a slighlty shorter rise then the Classic Brief and a different waistband.
What is the difference between Jockey Classic #9950 and #9017 - aside from 3-pack and 6-pack? Thanks, Russ
Russ R on Oct 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Russ, the style numbers 9950 and 9017 are the same garments. The 9950 is a 3 pack and has more color variety, whereas, the 9017 is a 6 pack and has less color selection but are sold at a lower price point.
Why do you not have these in size 42 in white?
Justyn W on Aug 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry. I'm sorry that inventory in our Jockey Men's Classic Full Rise (42) Six-Pack Brief in white has been depleted.
I checked with our inventory planner, and she expects to have stock replenished within the next four weeks, but it could be sooner. Thank you and have a good day.

I like what I thought was a standard jockey brief. Last year i accidentally purchased the 'low rise' style. which i don't care for. So, yesterday I bought what I assumed was the only alternative, 'full rise'. Wrong, I'm taking these back today. They're up around my belly button. When I laid out the three different styles side by side, low and behold there is a low rise, a full rise and something in between. Why isn't this distinction spelled out anywhere? And what is the standard rise style called?
Frankie on Aug 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi I am so sorry for the confusion on the briefs. Our standard rise is considered the Classic full rise briefs. Which sits natural at the waist. Thank you and have a good day.
I don't see classic briefs in xxl. Do you carry them on line? You have the t shirt 2xl, hope I can get the briefs too.
A shopper on Jul 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I am very sorry for the confusion, this item is sold in waist sizes and not alpha sizing (s, m, l xl, etc.). 2XL sizing is typically a 44-46 so you would want to go with a waist size 44 or 46. The 44 is with our standard sizing and the 46 fall under the big man category. You can find the size 46 at the following link: http://www.jockey.com/catalog/product/big-tall-classic-brief-6-pack-value
