Husband says they are as great as always
My husband had me order these for him. He has worn this Jockey style for the 25 years we have been married and says they feel great. I myself, know these seem to last forever because over the years of folding laundry, I am amazed how great the jockey briefs look wash after wash. My husband has another well-known name brand as well and the Jockey briefs last 5x longer before needing replaced. Jockey's superior quality over the other famous name brands is truly evident come laundry time!

I am hoping that you have used elastic (round the legs) which is not destroyed by hot water in the wash.
I am worried that if you had done so, you'd be crowing about it. If the rubber you use is, in fact heat, resistant I shall be buying from you again.

how do the 9017 differ from the 9950?
Stephen Nesta on Sep 4, 2014
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 3 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 3 Pack
BEST ANSWER: Hi Stepehen, the style number 9017 and 9950 are the same garment. We are currently clearancing the 9017 (the 6 pack) because we are focusing more on the 3 packs then the 6 packs. I would suggest picking up the 9017 with the reduced price. With prices like that they are going to fly off the shelfs!
I'm looking at the style 9017 men's briefs. I do not like the low rise or the full rise styles. I want what used to be the standard rise brief. Is this the style 9017?
Charles W on Dec 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the standard rise and full rise are the same rise and the low rise is signifigantly lower in the rise. We do not currently offer a mid rise garment.
Jockey classic brief union blue: are they solid colors or stripes? What are the colors?

BEST ANSWER: The pack I received was all solid colors. Made of Combed Cotton?
Teresa D on Sep 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes
I bought a 3 pack and they shrunk a lot?
Does this usually happen?
A shopper on Sep 8, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, we do not use pre-shrunk or condensed cotton, typically a garment will shrink 10-14% after the first 3 washings. Even thogh the product does shrink we do account for this in production and they should fit perfectly after they are washed. Please call one of our personal shoppers at 1-800-562-5391 to return or exchange the garment.
Are these solid colored briefs?
A shopper on Sep 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, yes these are solid colored briefs. The waistband will always be white even on the colored briefs. The brief itself is not patterned.

A shopper on Jun 21, 2015
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 5 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 5 Pack
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The primary difference is that our style 9995 features a 5 pack quantity, and our style 9017 features a 6 pair quantity. The price for the 9995 is reduced because it features the old packaging that we're clearancing. Hope this helps!

What are the recommended washing instructions for colored briefs?
A shopper on Jun 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Below is a link that you can use to translate the universal care symbols. You can use this not only for all of your Jockey products, but for any other apparel you may happen to have: http://www.textileaffairs.com/lguide.htm. For our cotton styles you will want to machine wash warm, use nonchlorine bleach only, tumble dry medium and wash with like colors. Thank you for your question!
Does the gray classic brief have a white waistband? It outlasts the colored (black) waistband.
A shopper on Jun 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! At this time our gray classic full rise brief does feature a black waistband. If you find that your waistband does not hold up, I would like to encourage you to give one of our Personal Shoppers a call at 1-800-JOCKEY-1 (800-562-5391) and we can discuss this matter further! How long before union blue is back in stock?
Larry F on May 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: We introduced our Jockey Men's Classic Full Rise Six-Pack Brief in Union Blue as a special fashion assortment, part of our "one-time-only" seasonal palette. And although our forecasters thought we made enough products to last for the entire reason, we received a huge--indeed unprecedented--response from our consumers, particularly among those who received our catalog.

My supervisor checked with our manufacturing division, and unfortunately we do not have any other
Union Blue stock available, and because it is part of a fashion collection, there is no additional stock planned for production this year.

On the other hand, it's been so enormously popular that perhaps it may become available again (though our fashion assortments are planned more than a year in advance, so its return would not be for more than year).
Best size for 38-40 waist?
A shopper on May 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your interest in our Jockey Classic Briefs. This particular style is available in numeric sizes. So we do offer a size 32, 34, 36, 38, 40 etc. So you would want to choose which size is the most comfortable to you. If you like your underwear a little looser, I'd suggest going with the size 40. Otherwise, you would want to choose the 38. Hope this helps.
Where are these made?
John R on Mar 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you very much for you question about our Jockey Classic Briefs. We have manufacturing facilities located in many countries throughout the world, and our Classic Briefs are not manufactured in one single facility. Unfortunately, if you ordered a package of briefs, we would not be able to tell you which country they were manufactured in because our warehouse, we have the products segregated in one place as a unique style number, but in that mix, some will have been made in one country, some in another.
size small? why does Jockey not make size small (28-30) pouch briefs or classic/low rise classic briefs?
John B on Mar 10, 2015
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Pouch Brief - 3 Pack
Jockey® Pouch Brief - 3 Pack
Jockey® Classic Low-rise Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Low-rise Brief - 6 Pack
BEST ANSWER: Thank you so much for your question. Unfortunately, there is not as much of a demand for a size Small as there is for the other sizes, so we have limited the number of styles we offer in a size Small. I have made a suggestion to our design team that we start manufacturing this size again because there is a demand for it. They often do rely on the feedback and suggestions we receive from customers to determine which styles and sizes we should produce.
I always had men's size '"medium" jockey underwear. What number size corresponds to medium?
A shopper on Feb 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! Our men's size medium is designed for a waist measurement of 32 to 34 inches. As a result, you would want to select one of those two size offerings, based on your own personal comfort. You can find our full men's size chart at the following link:

http://www.jockey.com/shoppingguide/sizecharts

If you had any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
Do you still make a size 30 brief? That is my size, and I was always able to find it.
Allan K on Feb 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I am very sorry but we no longer make a size 30 in the classic brief. I will pass your suggestion on to our merchandising team and hopefully we will have the size 30 again in the future.
How long before order is shipped?
A shopper on Jan 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: All orders placed before noon central time are shipped the same day. All orders placed after noon central time are shipped the next day. The amount of time it will take for the order to get to you will depend on the shipping option you choose. Standard ground shipping will take 5-7 buisness days.
What size size should I order? I wear size 38 regular fit jeans that are snug. I don't want my underwear super tight. I'm thinking of ordering sz. 40 Classic Fit, but considering a 10-14% shrinkage should I order 42s?
hpite on Jan 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I suggest going with the size you traditonally wear. The items are cut in anticiaption of them shrinking. Out of the package they will seem a little big.
is there a difference between these and the stay cool brief if so what?
A shopper on Dec 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the staycool collection is different because it has a temperature regulating feature to it. Also, it has a slighlty shorter rise then the Classic Brief and a different waistband.
My husband has always preferred the jockey brief style that has a horizontal design front instead of your classic Y. We cannot find any of this style in any dept. store. Have you totally stopped making the horizontal front? He still has an old pair or two, so we know you did make it at one point.
Ellie D on Nov 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I am very sorry that you are unable to find the Jockey Pouch brief in your local stores. We do still make this item and it is one of our best sellers. You can find them at jockey.com. The style number is 1145 and they are located at the following link: http://www.jockey.com/catalog/product/jockey-pouch-brief

my husband wears an x-large that usually equates to a 40-42. How would I know which size to get when the numbers are separated like this? Thanks!
SaraHannah on Nov 9, 2014

inbetween sizes should order up or down?
A shopper on Oct 26, 2014

For example, if you measure a on the high end of a 35 I would go with the 36 if you are measuring on the low end of a 35 go with a 34.
