Great basic brief
I wear these briefs somewhat regularly. My college roommate wore Jockey briefs and these were the ones I switched to after I was done with my boxer phase. They have a great classic look and fit well. The low rise are superior to the regular fit because they don't have so much extra unnecessary fabric. The upside down Y front is more comfortable that the fly fronts of my other briefs. Good for casual and everyday wear.

I'd like to see bolder colors and more striped patterns/contrasting trim offered other than the basic blues, black, and white.

Good for skinny guys
I'm a really skinny guy, so finding underwear that fits properly has been a challenge. I usually buy a size 32 with Jockey, which is not ideal for me but the best I can do. When I got these, I thought "There's no way these are 32s!" Not that I'm complaining. For once, they fit like a glove - I'll definitely have to buy more! On a side note though, it seems that the white low-rise briefs don't run quite as small as the color.

My test is if I can sleep in it and it's not pulling on me. I don't notice I'm wearing it...that's the point.

I have used this product for at least 20 years and have found them to be the most comfortable briefs, I have tried other brands and always gone back to the true and blue JOCKEY brand. Thanks.

WORN THEM FOR 20 YEARS
This is my favorite underwear. They give support and ride just low enough to keep them from sticking out of the back of my jeans. They are also high enough to keep me from having plumber's butt when working in construction.

Great briefs
Very high quality; excellent fit in waist and legs; much better than those of Polo. Phone support was very helpful; short wait to reach them. Would definitely order Jockey brand again.

It is an exact waist size, 38, rather than S-M-L-XL. I find the "L" is too small and the "XL" is too large. The only size that fits me is an exact waist size. Also, it is cotton and it is low-rise. AND, it is JOCKEY!

Why not size 40 in low-rise?
A shopper on Sep 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I am very sorry but we no longer make this item in a size 40. The size was discontinued due to poor sales performance. I can make a suggest to our product development team that we bring them back in the size 40.
Can I still get these in grey without buying two colors that I don't want?
A shopper on Nov 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have not been able to find just plain grey and the grey is a different grey than I would get years ago. I can only find the 3 pack with other different colors. I wish Jockey would go back to the old grey and sell individuals briefs which would eliminate the unwanted colors.

Jockey® Classic Low-Rise Brief - 3 Pack or 6 pack. Will you be carrying in 40 as you have before?
Bill R on Apr 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Although our Classic Low-Rise Brief is not available in 40 right now, our merchandising and design team is currently considering whether perhaps our collections are too restrictive in terms of size. So, they've asked us to forward on to them any feedback which would tend to confirm that hypothesis. So I will be forwarding your online product review on to them for review.
DO you offer this product in a 40 waist product #9951?
Stephen R on Feb 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you so much for your question, and for your ineterst in our Jockey Classic Low-Rise Brief. Unfortunately, they are no available in a size 40 right now. But not to worry, our merchandising and design team is currently considering whether perhaps our collections are too restrictive in terms of size. So, they've asked us to forward on to them any feedback which would tend to confirm that hypothesis. So I will be forwarding your online product review on to them for review.
Do you still make the jockey briefs with the horizontal opening, rather than the diagonal opening?
A shopper on Jan 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I am very sorry but we have discontinued the low rise pouch brief. I will pass on your suggestion that we bring the style back.
Are these briefs made in USA? So many site are confusing as to manufacturing site... Thanks, BH
A shopper on Dec 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question, we do not currently manufacture in the US. I will pass on your suggestion to our sourcing team.
In the future do you plan on manufacturing men's jockey briefs without tags? My husband has worn these for a long time. However, now the tags irritate his skin. Am now looking at other brands, but would continue purchasing jockey if they were tagless.
A shopper on Jan 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi, all of our men's underwear is being transitioned to a tag free variety. Right now, we have both tag and tag less mixed together at the warehouse and that is why you may have recieved items with the tags.
low rise brief in white?
A shopper on Oct 16, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, we do have the white availalbe in this item. However, we do not have any at the sale price. We only have the white at full price.
Why do you not sell WHITE underwear? You feature photographs of white, but when one selects that item, white is not available.
A shopper on Jan 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I am very sorry for the confusion, we do not have the white available at the sale price, however, we do have white available at standard pricing. You can find the white at the following link: http://www.jockey.com/catalog/product/classic-low-rise-brief
IS THIS A 100% COMBED COTTON BRIEF?

What happened to the great multi-colored low rise briefs I have been buying for decades???
scidad3 on Aug 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I ask myself the same question. I prefer bright deep colors, as well as stripes and contrasting piping and waistband: royal blue, fire engine red, navy blue, forest green, bristol blue, deep orange, true blue, deep pink, violet blue, white, navy royal blue, gold. I know that they usually have at least on great pack of blue colors that are usually very nice. They also have fashion colors that come in once every quarter.
Can't tell and it doesn't say-do these have a fly?
Eileen on Mar 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: That is a great question about our Jockey Classic Low-Rise Brief. These briefs are indeed constructed with our inverted Y-Fly. That means the seams on the front of the brief look like an upside letter Y, with the opening being along the diagonal seam on the right, when you're wearing them.
Are the men's underwear tag less?
A shopper on Dec 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No. There is a tag glued to the center back of the waist band. Some are scratchier than others, just depends on the batch and where they are made.
Which low rise don't open in the y?
tim t on May 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! We do offer a large selection of men's low-rise briefs, though all these low-rise styles feature no fly opening. Our Classic Low-Rise Brief is the only low-rise style we currently offer with a fly. Our other Low-rise styles can be found at: http://www.jockey.com/catalog?department=men&category=underwear&style=brief&platform=slim-fits Hope this helps.

Do you have any briefs in a small size like 28 or 30?
Nick J on Jan 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! Although our Classic Low-Rise Brief is not available in size 28 or 30, we do still make some men's products in size small (which fits sizes 28-30).. Very few department stores carry them, and so the most likely place to find them is on our Web site. You can find those smaller sizes at: http://www.jockey.com/catalog?department=men&category=underwear#/page=1 Under the size selection, you will want to select the option "S" for small to help narrow down your search. Hope this helps!
Have any 28 size underwear?
Wayne C on Oct 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you very much for your question. We unfortunately do not offer any size 28's, but we do have a number of items in a size Small, which fits a waist size of 28-30". You can find the available styles at the following link: http://www.jockey.com/catalog?department=men&category=underwear You will need to click in the "S" under the Size menu along the left hand side. Hope this helps.
I agree. Size 40 would be nice for bigger men. The 38 seems small compared to other size 38 briefs I have. Will these shrink in the wash? I always use cold water and tumble dry on the lowest setting.
Robert U on Apr 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! Here at Jockey we do not use preshrunk cotton in the production of our Low-Rise Classic Brief. As a result, this style will experience a bit of shrinkage within the first couple of washes. Not to worry though, we kept this in mind with the sizing on these items. Our Classic Briefs come out of the package actually a bit larger and should shrink down to their correct size after the first washing. If for any reason you experience any excessive shrinking, please give one of our Personal Shoppers a call at 1-800-JOCKEY-1 (800-562-5391). Hope this helps!
Where can I buy briefs with original black dash waistband ( 70,s and 80's style) I love these ? Lorise preferably will py shipping from other countries.
Charleston on Feb 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you very much for your question about our Jockey Classic Low-Rise Brief. Unfortunately, as we have stopped manufacturing the style that had the black dash waistband years ago, we no longer have any remaining inventory. In regards to other retailers who might have them, we would not now. I'm sorry.
