These are the best underwear I have ever worn. They support a man with a "larger" package. Y front makes it easier for urinal use in restrooms. My son likes to wear these because of his larger size as well. Overall, you will love these underwear!
I am 63 and have been buying your classic briefs in size 30 since college. I still have at least several pairs that are well over a decade old. Sad to say the last set that I purchased before you stopped making size 30 classics did not hold up quite as well. Unfortunaltly the bands around the legs streached out making them unwearable.. This did not occur in the older briefs that I'm still wearing. The new briefs fit well, but time will tell. The only thing I noticed that is different from my previous purchases is that the cotton fabric is somewhat thinner.
This is a beautiful style, conforming to and complimenting a man's natural shape. The natural cotton is so comfortable and healthy for the body and the planet! I have one complaint - well 2. The colors are not accurate in the item description. I have gotten my husband the black, which he loved, but this time tried to expand his conservative taste by choosing a modest stripe plus a grey. (Heather grey + iron stripes.) The picture shows the stripe as mostly navy with narrow grey stripes. The pants which came are more equal stripes of both. Plus the red on navy stripe is barely noticeable in the picture, but bright in the actual ones. I'm not sure my husband will accept these when I present them for his birthday. Another problem is that there is no picture of the actual pants, as there are in many other descriptions. This would have shown the actual appearance much better - which is even more important for the other pair in this 2-pack. It is shown as grey with a navy waistband. But it turns out the front Y seams are also navy, which would have been obvious had there been a picture of them. (Men can be as choosy as women!) I buy Jockeys confidently because of the great return policy, but in this case the colors I'd consider as alternatives are all out of stock in his size! 3 out of stocks, yet this style is not on sale.
Im 57 years old and I've been wearing these things since high school. These are getting hard to find in the stores, so I've been ordering online lately, but now my solid color choices are limited to black, grey, and white. I wish you'd bring back the other solid colors that you used to have like dark green, dark blue etc.
I love these briefs, my favorite packs are the striped colored ones. I was very happy to go into a department store and find a two pack of striped colored briefs. They also feel great during a workout. When I purchased these, the lady at the counter gave me this very sensual look, Briefs are still sexy!
These mid rise briefs are among the best out there. They keep there shape very well and feel great. you can use these at the gym or any where. i wish they came in more colors like blue,red,green,etc.. great briefs though
I ordered size 38 classic low-rice briefs online. The breifs arrived, were washed, and then I took a pair out of the drawer & discivered that they were at least 2 inches smaller that the previous size 38 briefs. Has anyone else had this problem? Other than that, I was very satisfied with the product[...]
I love Jockey products and bought a pack of these to give them a try. I found the fabric to be soft, but the waist seemed too small. I bought them a size larger than I usually buy, but think that I should've purchased them two full sizes larger than my typical size.
I have been wearing the classic jockey briefs for many years - all in size 34. This is my first purchase of the low rise brief, also in size 34. The fabric is soft and comfortable but the sizing is definitely different (tighter) than the "classics". I have not tried the next size up but I suspect the low rise 36 would have been more comparable to the classic 34.
These are my fave Jockey briefs. However, I am a size 27 waist and need 28-30 size briefs. I'm not sure why Jockey doesn't make this brief in my size, but they still have the full size in size 30. Love the soft fabric and the fly-front. Hope to see more Jockey in size in the near future!
I have been wearing the lowrise briefs for 10yrs or more with aslight increase in waistline. The style has changed where they fit more like standard briefs than lowrise. You have also quit making or at least selling all the different colors you use to. I am a golfer and having shorts that don't conflict with the pants I wear was great. The quality of longevity is still there. Bring back the colors please! I would comment on the colors being more sexy, but at my age that is getting to be less of a requirement.
I used to wear Jockey boys breifs when I was younger and I remember them being a lot different. The material on these seems very thin and almost see-through, like a cheap pair of underwear. If it weren't for the double layer of fabric in the "Y" front, you'd probably be able to see my junk right through the brief. Also, they fit very snugly, especially around my butt, which is odd, because I really don't have much of one and all my other underwear is pretty baggy in the rear. They're ok on comfort, but I expected a little more thickness of fabric and overall quality, especially since I paid [$] for a pair of two. I can get a generic five pack of briefs at the store that cost $6 bucks.
The support, fly and style are all GREAT, but the threading on the inside of the leg bands is very rough (fine sandpaper-like) leaving rubbed red lines on the backs and insides of my legs. I'd like to say that this is from sitting at my desk and not from a lot of movement. Also, the rear is a little baggy. The rough threading (making them unwearable for me) is pretty disappointing considering the high quality of every other aspect. If Jockey can make a softer threading (and perhaps tighten-up the lower rear), I'll be a life-long customer.
I use to be able to walk in a store & purchase a package of classic briefs in any size, now they don't even come in my size anymore! & there are way too many choices. I will not be purchasing Jockey anymore unless you make them in my size and style!
I have been purchasing Jockey brand for years, but recently the inconsistency of the cut/fit is unnerving. I just purchased another of the same style and size (low rise), but they were cut as large as the Classic Brief. There was no "low rise" to them. They will be returned later today. I don't understand why the fit cannot be the same each time. Unfortunately, this may be my last purchase if my replacement pair is just as poorly constructed.
I've been wearing white Classic Jockey briefs for over four decades (since I was 12) originally because my dad wore them too. I've recently switched to the classic low rise briefs and find them to be both sexy and comfortable. It's the perfect choice for me if I'm in a situation where I have to strip down to my underwear (romantic encounter, locker room, medical exam).
These briefs fit well (maybe because you can buy waist size, not just S,M,L), provide comfortable support, and are among the few low rise briefs available that have a fly. I got several 2-packs 'on sale' so the price was very reasonable, and the color/pattern selection avilable online was impressive- must have been 15-20 colors/patterns.
Have worn Jockey all my life, over 50 yezrs and will always wear these. Used to wear regular Jockey Classics bit troed these when they came out. Will never go back to anything else. Have tried other products and other styles from Jockey but these are the best. Really comfortable and fit great. Like to be able to buy by waist size rathr than small, medium and large. Wosuld recommend them to anybody who cares abotu comfort and fit. Great product.Used to war only colors but now favor all white. Love them.
