Stretch band
These are my favorite briefs I have been wearing them for years. I am sad to say the quality of the product has gone down and the price has gone up. I have had them for 3 weeks and the waste band is already stretching out. The briefs that I bought two years ago are in better shape than the new ones. Not sure who is making these now but, they are making a cheaper product - its disappointing. Maybe you should have them made in America.

Poor Quality
My husband has worn Jockey Classic Low Rise briefs for more than 20 years. These briefs are a lower standard than ones purchased in the past. The fabric quality is poor. It is thinner, not as soft and shrunk considerablly with the first washing on a warm/cold setting.

Guess it's just a sign of the times to lower the product standards to make more profit. I will never purchase them again online (I do 98% of my shopping online) because I will have to look at the product to be sure they are the quality I normally expect from Jockey.

Perfect fit, perfect comfort
These are the most comfortable briefs ever. I have now switched over to Jockey low rise briefs, from other full rise briefs, as these fit the best and are the most comfortable briefs ever. Jockey low rise briefs has full support, and yet feel so comfortable, I cant imagine wearing any other brand or style of briefs. Thank you, Jockey!

Perfect Fit!
Fast shipping. I buy these because they are the only ones that fit well around the legs and stay that way. The leg fittings never wear out

6 - pack value: Limited options
I felt the option to get all white should have been offered. The colors are fine, but the limited selection of choices was annoying. This style always seems to be out of stock in major dept. stores - and the outlet mall is over an hour away. Online shopping should offer more options. Tks

Not what I expected
I am a 32 waist so I purchased size 32 and they look and fit like little boys' underwear. I've been wearing Jockey for many years and this is the first time I've been unhappy with the product. They are so tight and small they hurt a little. I've tried stretching them but it makes no difference.

Elastic waist needs improvement
If the elastic in the waist could be improved, these would get the 5 star rating. Otherwise, I am replacing these briefs for my husband every 6 months, that is a package of 6....The waist crinkles up and the elastic is worn out. The size is correct, the next would not stay up.

I have worn and liked Jockey underwear for a very long time. The waist bank elastic seems to hold up better after many cycles in the clothes dryer than cheaper brands. After buying a set of full rise briefs at Macy's I concluded that the low rise is a better fit for me.

Ellen S on Dec 22, 2015
I like the low-rise briefs because of comfort. My only complaint is that the bands on these briefs tend to pucker after repeated washings, but they last longer if you follow the instructions and don't use fabric softener.

My husband loves Jocky brand and has been wearing Jocky brand for 30 + years. He won't wear any other brand. I getting concerned with the quality. The elastic has been getting all scrunched up. If these do that we will be trying another brand. Here's hoping we don't have to change brands. Thank you! Rhonda

size small? why does Jockey not make size small (28-30) pouch briefs or classic/low rise classic briefs?

Jockey® Classic Low-rise Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Pouch Brief - 3 Pack
Jockey® Pouch Brief - 3 Pack
BEST ANSWER: Thank you so much for your question. Unfortunately, there is not as much of a demand for a size Small as there is for the other sizes, so we have limited the number of styles we offer in a size Small. I have made a suggestion to our design team that we start manufacturing this size again because there is a demand for it. They often do rely on the feedback and suggestions we receive from customers to determine which styles and sizes we should produce.

Are you ever going to carry low rise w/fly style 8016 with 40" waist?
A shopper on Apr 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Although our Jockey Men's Classic Low Rise Brief is not available in a 40 inch waist right now on, our merchandising and design team is currently considering whether perhaps our collections are too restrictive in terms of size. This particular product is available in many department stores where were are carried such as Macy's, but in limited quantities. I have forwarded the feedback that we bring this style to in those extended sizes on your behalf. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Don't understand difference between full rise & low rise in terms of fit. Can you plz. advise?
Kent P on Oct 19, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Kent, the low rise and full rise briefs are different because the full rise brief is intended to fit up to the natural waist. The low rise brief is intended to fit 2-3 inches below the natural waist.
do u sell the classic low rise in xl 40-42?
A shopper on Sep 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I am very sorry that we do not offer the classic low rise in sizes larger then a size 38 at this time. I will pass your suggestion for larger sizes on to our product development team and hopefully we will make your size in the future.
does it still have a pee pee hole?
A shopper on Nov 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the jockey low rise briefs do have a functional fly. I usually do not us it for urination, but you could. It is fully functional. The fly is large enough to slip your whole hand down it and tickle what is there. Haha. These Jockey Shorts are great. I have warn this style since sophomore year in High School. They are very good basic fly front briefs; they are good for everyday us. They are very comfortable and they look very sexy on the wearer. The colors are generally good: Royal Blue, Red, Navy Blue, White, Cobalt Blue, Green, Striped, ect. They are also soft and comfortable. Make sure that you get the correct size, because the waistband only stretches so far.
Does this low-rise pouch have an opening similar to the classic doesn't appear so and if so, it looks like it would be difficult to utilize?
Larry B on Sep 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It does have an opening on the right side. As far as being difficult to use, I don't really know that it's any more difficult than classic style underwear. But, then, I don't usually use the opening in either style. I can be done and gone by the time I get it out (not really, but it's more trouble than it's worth to me, lol).

Is style 8016 the same as the briefs I purchased at JCPenny 009966/100?
Janek on Apr 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! I'm happy to share with you that our Jockey Classic Low-rise brief - 6 Pack (style 8016) and our 4-Pack (style 9966) do indeed feature the same high quality low-rise brief you have come to love from Jockey. The only difference is the quantity each of these packs contain. Hope that helps!
Where is this product manufactured?
Brett H on Jan 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Because our products are made in multiple countries, we have no way of guaranteeing (or in many cases identifying) a country of origin for any product you may purchase. That’s why our online product pages list manufacturing location with text like, “US or imported.” In the case of the US, for example, we have no single product that is made only in the US and not also in another country. So in our warehouse, we have product XYZ segregated in one place as a unique product, but in that mix, some will have been made in one country, some in another. Of course, we do guarantee 100% consumer satisfaction on every product we sell, and we stand behind that policy with free returns. (For more details, please see Hope this helps!
why don't you make a 28" waist size?
A shopper on Mar 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you very much for your question regarding our Jockey Classic Low-Rise Briefs. Although our Classic Low-Rise Brief is not available in a size 28 right now, our merchandising and design team is currently considering whether perhaps our collections are too restrictive in terms of size. So, they've asked us to forward on to them any feedback which would tend to confirm that hypothesis. So I will be forwarding your online product review on to them for review.

Hi, I love my jockey underwear! I usually by them at your outlet store, and they are packaged as "Jockey Lite" low-rise briefs sold in 3 packs.
I don't see the "lite" briefs here, and I'm wondering if #8016 are the same? Thank you !
Claude M on Nov 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Claude, the Life by Jockey collection is exclusive to Wal-Mart. To find the exact briefs you are looking for you will have to go Wal-Mart to purchase them.
