I have worn tagged jockey crewnecks size L for 15 years. A few years ago I bought Jockey Classic crewnecks labeled "Made in Jamaica RN# 61683 CA# 23638 Size L/G/G". They were too short after a couple washings, way shorter than my old zillion-washings tagged shirts, and drove me nuts by coming out of my pants. In June 2008 my old tagged Jockey shirts had developed so many holes that I was forced to shop again. Tried shirts from a famous three-letter casual men's store, but they were a scratchy disaster. So in desperation I tried Jockey Classic crewnecks again. This time they are labeled "Made in El Salvador RN# 61683 CA# 23638 Size L/G/G" and they are LONG. The El Salvador shirt is a full 4 inches longer than the Jamaica shirt after one wash/dry cycle. Might be too large and loose but I'll take that over too short for now. So read those labels, you might find a fit.
We ordered the same product number that I'd received in the past (really liked those previous shirts) - but do not like the second order, as somewhere along the line you CHANGED. The label was slightly different, and the shirts FIT differently - sloppy, looser. I ordered the same size. The latter order must have been manufactured in a different country! Very unhappy with them.
If you had asked me 10 years ago I would have said Jockey's t-shirts are exactly what I want and need. Comfortable, lightweight and a good fit. I use to buy mediums of this shirt and everything was awesome. I have been buying jockey t-shirts regularly since I began being brand loyal all those years ago. I have found within the last few years that many of the medium t-shirts in the varying colors leave me swimming inside of them. I am the same weight and build I was 10 years ago, but it seems like it's harder and harder to find a consistent fit. I've tried the small size and some of them fit okay, and some of them fit too tight and are too short. I have come to enjoy Jockey's trim fit t-shirt in a medium. I only wish they offered the same colors shown above for the trim fit style t-shirt. As is, I think I will stick with the plain white trim fit t-shirts from here on out. I hope they don't adjust the size and fit of them.
These shirts have dropped in quality ever since the tagged shirts were replaced with tagless. The latest crop of tagless has dropped even more, the barnd new shirts just out of the package are practically see through and have a stretched out / worn out appearance.
There are also huge variations in quality between packages. I have one pack that was made in jamacia, appear to be better quality fabric but the shirts are short and small. A second pack was made in El Salvidor and are much larger and longer but are translucent and look of poor quality.
I wear a T-shirt under most shirts and I've bought many brands, but I keep coming back to this particular shirt because it can't be beat and the price is right! Both the white and black fit all my styles. After multiple washings, these shirts never lose their shape. They're as soft and comfy as the day I bought them. You can't go wrong with this T-shirt.
I wear these almost everyday as undershirts to polos and button-ups. The material is lightweight and comfortable. Also nice to wear to bed after the day is over. I wish the shirt was just a bit longer to make tucking-in easier.
I began wearing undershirts about 20 years ago when I started in my career. I tried other brands, but Jockey is the best.
The Classic T-shirt seems to have changed. It started when Jockey adopted the tagless design. The new shirts are a little bigger around and shorter in length. I don't like the new length at all. I've not bought new Jockey T-shirts in a couple years. I hope Jockey brings back a longer shirt.
Don't judge this undershirt by how it appears in the picture. The neck is really loose and the body of this T-shirt is really baggy. If you like a close fitting neck/body, as well as good length to ensure it stays in your pants - I recommend you purchase something else!
I primarily wear this as an undershirt to work, nights out and on the weekends, really for everyday wear. The thickness of material, soft feel, and endurance in shape wash after wash have been consistent to date. Other similar products would cost less but not match the quality and endurance of this undershirt.
I've bought the same product before and these shirts now fit looser than they used to. It's frustrating to buy something once and like it exactly as it is, and then buy it six months or a year later and find that the fit has changed and the fabric is a little less soft than it used to be.
Off the cuff it is soft material so from that point it feels comfortable. However, feels to snug and it is to long. I thought it was advertised as a relaxed fit which it is not. Wonder if the material will yield to longevity time will tell.
I've worn Jockey t-shirts for 20+ years. The last 5-6 packs I've purchased have a different neck design that looks loose and has wrinkles/gaps. Sometimes after only one wear/wash. I called customer service and they say nothing has changed but that can't possibly be true. I can only assume it was a cost saving effort even though i'm paying more than never. I have to try another brand.
Compared to the same model tshirt sold a couple of years ago, the Classic now is much thinner, using much less cotton. The new ones are thinner when brand new than the older ones wer after two years of wear and washings.
I've bought this basic crew neck T for decades but this last 6 pack is dissappointing. For comparison, I still had a new shirt from my last batch. The new shirt (made in Columbia) was nearly 2" shorter and 1/2" narrower in the body. Also the cotton is of coarser quality. I'm taking them back. My love affair with Jockey T's may be over.
The JOCKEY classic white T is the (only) brand will I will (ever)wearefrom now on.These look fantasitc on me since I weare scrubs as a healthcare worker.Wearing a (well made)Classic Crew White T by JOCKEY is important.I've been slowly stocking up & replacing these from other old & worn out brands.
99% of my underwear is Jockey brand. Not sure how the other 1% found its way into my drawer. Even in the heat of South Florida, I wear a t-shirt every day, year round. They have to hold up and wear well. It just makes for a "finished" look. Thank Jockey!
I purchased a set of Black Crew T- Shirts. I have many white Jockey T's but the stores seldom carry the Black. I buy Jockeys because the high neck line with the reinforced collar which stays perfectly round after washing many times.
I use the Black as a T-shirt to wear with shorts in the summer here in Hot Florida. They are a better fit than anyone else real T-shirts that are generally a bit heavier also. You need a light T during a humid day, which we get many down here in Florida.
Jockey products not available in my town, so online is the only way I can get them. This was a gift for my Dad's 85th birthday and he wares nothing but Jockey. The service and delivery were outstanding.
I've worn a lot of T-shirts, and the Jockey classic crew neck is in a class by itself. They are soft, comfortable and versatile. I always know what I am getting when I buy Jockey T-shirts and I won't buy anything else. All of the other brands out there just don't compare.
The quality makes it good for work without a "top shirt" and the length makes it easy to tuck in without coming out even if there is a lot of bending, stretching and reaching involved. It looks more expensive than it was.
The classic Jockey T-shirt/undershirt is one of the best and most reliable clothing products I have found. Don't change it! (Yes it shrinks, but all 100% cotton garments do. It doesn't shrink excessively.)
I have purchased Jockey products for years, I am a VIP member and we shop the outlets a lot and I always look for a Jockey store. Great, well made, long lasting and comfortable products for myself and my wife.
I prefer Jockey brand to any other brand but I ordered the wrong size. However, rather than return the shirts I decided to give them to my son-in-law. My daughter was glad too because she says he has worn his others way too long. Now, I need to submit a new order for XL.
