Once I entered my 50's and started putting weight around my middle, this product fit me from groin to waist very comfortably. I don't consider myself a "tall" man, but the fit is very comfortable for all day use.
I've looked for sometime to find a full coverage product that actually fits to my waist all of the others that I have tried only fit to mid hip and that is very umcomfortable for me. and this product is very comfortable to me.
My husband wears only this style. He is not tall, but needs the extra room inside. They last a long time and wear very well. They are comfortable for him and don't ride up or bind at the legs or waist. My only downside is that they are very expensive, and don't come in the 6-pack option that the big men's version does. I would order more often if I could get a 6-pack instead of spending more on 2 2-packs.
I prefer the support of Briefs. Regular briefs after the washer and dryer cycle become low rise briefs. Tall Man briefs remain at a comfortable level after years of washing. I enjoy wearing them daily. Jockey should also make Pouch in the Tall man style also! Real Men wear Briefs!
I'm new to briefs, having grown up wearing boxers (80s). I was looking for a full cut brief and this fits the bill well. I'm 6-2 but slim (165). Out of the package these are huge but after a couple of washings they sit right at the navel (perfect).
I gave it a 3 start since quality-wise, the material seems just slightly below the regular briefs. Otherwise they would be a fiver. I find the waistband to be rather rough so I only wear these under business clothes when I'm also wearing an undershirt that I can tuck in. So I wouldn't recommend for casual/ weekend wear.
These are the only brand/style that fit my husband. The problem is that in the regular fit, you can get a 6-pack at a bargain price. I have requested the company do the same with the tall man brief, but to no avail. I have to struggle any time I order them-there is no jockey store within any close distance here for me to buy in a store.
My son is tall and the tall briefs fit him perfectly. They do shrink but minimally. They last through washings, bleach (however best not to bleach every wash) I have bought these for years and they are "the best".
somehow these fit so much better.... I take a 46 tall man and it fits better than the 46 big man (tho I admit I am more big than tall). Last a long time, just wish there were a more extensive color selection... black or white? SUrely they can support a few more colors.
I love it that a clothing company recognizes there are tall people in the world. I e-mailed one of your competitors to see if the had underwear for tall people. They said no even though their spokes person is a tall person who is well over 6 foot tall. I am 6'3" and they could not provide underwear that would fit me. They said they would take my suggestion under advisement. Thank you for making underwear for tall men.
I have worn this type of Jockey brief for over 25 years and think they are unsurpassed for quality, fit and are completely comfortable. I would not wear any other brand even if they were given to me. Please don't quit making them!
Delivery could have been better. package went from Indiana to Kentucky to South Carolina to Kentucky to Indiana to Kentucky to South Carolina....well traveled for a package....didn't make sense for all that travel before it finally got to it's destination.
I wear a normal 34 waist and I'm barely 6' tall, so I no way need the Tall Man sizes, but I have started buying these mostly for sleeping or under casual clothes. (Yes I have some Jockey flannel sleeping shorts too!) I don't need the kind of roominess you get in vanity sizing (ie effectively wearing a size larger). However, the Tall Man version of the classic brief combines the usual support with just enough extra soft fabric to make a perfect thing to wear to bed. In the fall, that is. For winter I prefer the union suit, but that's another review!
Was recently on a cruise with friends we've known for over thirty years. Somehow the suject of underware came up. I indicated that I had just ordered some new Jockey briefs. My friend said he had always worn H*(#@!+'s, but wasn't able to find his size, so he tried some Jockey's and that they were superior, especially in the quality of the elastic.
This is the first pair of underwear that my husband has really liked in I don't know how long. He has tried a ton of different brands and styles and has finally found one that is comfortable for him. Thanks
