I really do miss the original Combed Cotton boxer briefs that Jockey discontinued several years ago. I think the originals were a better fit, more comfortable and they last a long time with heavy washings. I still have several pairs left. Any chance you'll bring those back? In my opinion, they're still superior to what Jockey offers now.
They look great on the model. ANd also during first 1-2 hours of wearing. But after that, the leg loosens up and the waist band slide down. Also for a "seemless" product, there are many many seems which can be felt along buttocks and legs.
I have a difficult time finding a product that is comfortable in all three areas...top, mid and bottom. This product fits great on top...loose in mid section and rides up along the bottom. Do not like at all.
I am a slim guy, 54 years old, 5'11" and 158lbs. I had worn the previous model for many years. Found them to fit me right in all areas. The new model although looks very similar has a very tight confining "pouch". Could not comfortably wear them for more than 1 hour. I really miss the old version.
The boxers fit perfectly once you first try them on. However after a few hours they stretch as there doesn't seem to be enough elastic or other support materials in the product. Definitely a waste of moeny as they only provide the support needed for a couple of hours at most. Jockey used to make a version of this boxer a few years ago that was great and kept support all day. I'm not sure what changed in the manufacturing process but I won't buy these again.
I bought this underwear because it is soft and comfortable but the older version was better. I will change brands or wait until they update the current version. The older version was soft and comfortable but was able to maintain its stretch and support all day. The new version doesn't have the same stretch and becomes saggy after a couple of hours. Plus I used to be able to buy all one color now I am forced to buy packages with colors I do not want.
Forget any other brief on the market by Jockey or any other Manufacturer the likes of Calvin Klein, Esprit, or anyone else. These are the perfect briefs. Not hot, not too tight, not too loose, support needed for skiing, basketball, comfort needed for 5 hour operas or long formal dinners. Looks fine for date night. What else can you want from a brief? Sincerely, Tried Them All
These are great for everyday wear as well as for special occasions. I've worn these for some time now and will continue to as long as they keep making them. They're the best that I've been able to find.
These are the best and better than any other brand I've tried. Waistband does not curl-up or "bacon" like other brands. Soft yet durable fabric with excellent combination of natural cotton and polyester. Great idea to stitch label on the front so you can put them on while in the dark! Great value because they last longer than any other brand I've purchased.
I use these for sleeping. I've had a couple of pair for years, and they are ready for retirement, so I recently bought some more. As a matter of fact, I was delighted to find them still available, virtually unchanged from my original ones.
I did not rate their fit and support as either good or poor because they have, for my purposes, just the right balance between support and freedom in a sleep short; boxer freedom is too much, and spandex support likewise, when you're looking for bedtime comfort.
I purchased my first set almost a year ago. Back then, I was new to Jockey and thought that the Hanes that I was used to were better. Not anymore though! I just purchased another set because the quality and durability of these is excellent. They feel great. My Hanes are nice but the legs stretch throughout the day, my Jockey's don't. Also, the package section is much more comfortable with my Jockey's :) keeping the boys happy! The waistband is excellent as well and I'm not fit like I'd like to be either :)
