Jockey Classic Foam Cup/3-D Flex. SIZING
Finally, after reading every review here and owning 2 Jockey Bras size 36 band, cup 7 that had fit issues, I have found success. When I first ordered, I was just sure that I was ordering too large a size. I am 73 years old and do not want tube sock bras. I found one tidbit of information that I must have missed initially. It is critical! Consider this highlighted...Jockey Bra Cups stay the same regardless of the band width size going up or down. I made the decision to order another bra and take the cup size to 8 and leave the band at 36, though I think I am actually a 37. I use the first set of hooks to secure. The bras stretch; so, I did not try going to a 38 this time. Going to the size 8 cup from a 7 solved the following problems: (1)no more stabbing on the outside near the arm pit since the bones were moved over more toward the armpit in a larger cup. Also, this seemed to improve the fit in between the cups. (2) no more riding up in the front, the girls no longer peek out from under the band with the larger size 8 cup and the back of the straps properly adjusted. (3) the gape on top near where the strap joins the bra cup was gone except a little on the right side. I evened out the back adjustments which helped and I stood up straight, problem solved. My right shoulder had a self-healed old rotator injury and I tend to drop if forward just a tad at times. My shoulders are narrow and if the strap starts to slide off on that right side, it is a reminder to hold my shoulders up. Before Jockey, I was wearing my housework, no bones, Maidenform bras everywhere and they are now considered uncomfortable by me. That size was 38 C. I am 5'7" and weigh 164 pounds with a little too much weight on the upper body. I hope this helps someone. :)

fit kit - bra fit - pretty good fit
I did the bra fit thing and measured as a 9-36. I am 60 years old so the girls need a LOT of support. I emailed to ask which of the available styles would offer the best support for an older woman. The answer I got was "good question" and then a repeat the features of each style, which I had already read online. I went with the classic contour. Generally, it is really comfortable. The straps have good length to the adjustment, which is important to me as I am tall and bras often don't have long enough straps. The band is perfect - a 36 is comfortable around a 36" ribcage. This is really not true for many brands.
My only real issue with the bra is the lack of support for larger breasts. The 9 on the fit kit covered my breast perfectly. Even though the breast perfectly fills the cup when I am leaning over, when I stand and gravity does its thing - I am left with a gap at the top of the cup and a bit of sagging at the bottom. The light padding holds the cup shape at the top, though, so it isn't obvious through clothing just a matter of feeling hollow. I think a new model with some really strong support at the bottom of the cup would make a huge difference for those of us who really need some major lift. I don't need the girls pushing up against my chin, but the older you get the more important that lift is!

Good idea...sort of.
Once again, the larger ladies C-D-DD etc with more volume 8-9-10 are not given the side coverage needed or the support. The straps should be directly centered over the breast, not way off to the side in these larger sizes. The measuring kit worked well for me, but this style has little for coverage under the arm. So while it smooths your breasts under a T-shirt, the under arm area looks "lumpy".

Best Bra Ever
This is the best bra for everyday wear! At first, I wasn't sure about the new sizing system, but I used the fit kit and ordered the size that the measuring tape and volumetric cups suggested. It was perfect! This style is really supportive, but paired with the sweetheart neckline I feel that it still looks stylish. Usually, I wear underwire bras which hurt by the end of the day. This bra has resin built-in, according to the descriptions, and I couldn't believe what I difference it really made!

Fits just right
The kit helped get the cup size just right: full coverage with no spillover. Now my knits look smooth and my breasts sit a little lower, looking more natural and eliminating the blouse puckering my previous bras caused. I was concerned about the slight padding being uncomfortably warm, but so far no problems. I don't need the little silver decoration or the ridiculous amount of packaging, but I'm happy with the bras.

LOVE this bra, totally life changing. I ordered my "fit kit" and came up with the correct fit (really easy to do). The went to my local JOCKEY store to try one one, as I wanted to be sure I did do the fitting correctly. As soon as I put it on, It wa wonderful!! The straps stay put, the "girls" stay in place (no peeking out when i lift my arms), light weight, and the under wire doesn't dig into me. You know it was designed by women!!

great for comfort, but not for sizing
I tried this bra in an outlet store two days ago. I'm normally a 34G and after three different tries I decided that 9/34 fit me best. I didn't think anything of this at the time since I'm used to trying on multiple bras in different styles/sizes to find a good fit, but since then I've learned that a major marketing direction Jockey is going on with these bras is that you can fit yourself at home for a "custom" fit. IMO this is utter nonsense.

After dutifully following the sizing directions from the iPad in the trying room AND the instructions from my super lovely saleswoman, I still tried on an 8/36 and 8/34 before finally settling on a 9/34 as the right size. The saleswoman confirmed this process when she said to me by way of encouragement, "it really takes awhile to find the right size." And the band STILL gave me a small gap between the band and the front of my ribcage, so I think I could still stand to try a different size depending on the style I'm looking at. (I tried on the tailored contour as well and it seemed to fit me a little better in the 9/34 size).

Having said that, this bra is COMFORTABLE and totally lives up to my loyalist Jockey brand loyalty. Not only that, but it gave me an AWESOME shape and ample support. I didn't buy one since it was a little out of my budget right now, but I'm definitely planning to. I'm not convinced that it will hold that great shape all day or that the material will wear very well, but it's rare for a bra that gives that kind of shape to be that comfortable right out of the box. I hope this product takes off, Jockey is a great brand and I would love to see this bra line do well, expand, and get even better.

If I were to include marketing in this review I would have to knock off at least one star because there is just no way that fitting yourself at home could ever compare to trying a bra on in person. But since this review is JUST for the bra itself I'm keeping it at 4 stars. Once I've got one for myself and worked out how well it wears over the course of the day I'd love to be able to give it more stars. A comfortable bra that gives support and a great silhouette for a large busted woman?! Are you kidding me???!! It's like the holy grail of womenkind!!!

Will buy another one.
Love the bra. Make sure you measure accurately using the tape. I measured a 31 but have always worn a 32 so I ordered a 32. Wrong. Next time I will order what I measure - as the instructions say. This is the most comfortable bra I have ever worn. The cup size is perfect - first time ever. I am still getting used to the underwire style (flat) - it seems to be more substantial than the usual style and feels "different". I will be buying another bra, I'm a fan now.
December 16, 2013
A bit disappointed
I am a 36 DD and ordered 36 8. The cup seemed to be the right size. I was dismayed to see a 2-hook strap. Two hooks to support 8's all day long? Not even close. Jockey had me convinced that they had figured it out. Obviously you do it have a larger-chested, bra czar on staff. This oversight would not have happened.

I am trying to order style 6701.My shape is unique. My cup size is 5 my band is 41 since you do not have 41 I went up to 42, if you have 55 sizes why don't you have cup size 5 and band size 42?
A shopper on Oct 30, 2013
I am a 42B and cannot get a bra to fit because a B in size 42 is really a C and 42As are rarely made. I am praying that that this sytem will work. Having said that, is there a Jockey bra style that would work best with a very large-ribbed woman with small breasts?
Betsy on Nov 7, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I have this questions too (3)
I asked yesterday but I think my e-mail was missing something so here it is again. I have the fit kit and want to know what to do if I try the #3 and I feel like it's a little too small up top but the #4 has too much extra space. Which would fit best? I've already paid for the bra and don't want to order if this isn't going to work.
Penny J on Nov 7, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I had to lean forward a bit and make sure all of me was in, I thought the 8 was a bit big because I had to press it to me, so asked for a 7, (I happened to be passing an actual store so I could try on ---this after getting the fit kit) I got the full coverage with 34 band, and 8 was a much better fit , the flex thing that circles your bossom actually starts to conform to your body .. as just another customer , I think go to the 4 , hope a professional can help. Just my experience.
do you offer bands larger than 42 ?
Rosemary Z on Nov 2, 2013
BEST ANSWER: No! After I used the magic kit to size myself for the "new" jockey bras, I ordered and the first bra I ordered was too small in the band and too big in the cup. I returned it and re-ordered a 42 band and smaller cup size. Great, my bra fit and even more important, it was comfortable. Sadly, a couple of weeks later when I tried to re-order this size, Jockey told me none of these bras came in a size 42. So no more jockey bras for me. And I had such high hopes for a new bra wardrobe!
What if my band size is bigger that 42?
Lauren N on Nov 3, 2013
BEST ANSWER: You are likely to fall outside and above our current size range if you are currently wearing:

-High end cup sizes, such as G, H, I and J in all band sizes
-42DDD and above letters in 42 band
-44DDD and above letters in 44 band
-46 band size and above

I have breasts that have lost their firmness. I have breast tissue that spills out at the side. I do not want them squished or flattened out more than they already are. Which fit is best?

What is the difference between Classic Foam and Modern Foam?
Cindy M on Nov 10, 2013
There isn't a difference between the Classic Foam and Modern Foam between the way the thickness of the cup is or the way they feel. The difference however between the way that the two styles are made are the first style 6701 our Classic bra is that the straps are wider and offers full support and coverage. Our style 6702 has a thinner strap and offers average coverage more of a sweetheart look.
What does a C cup size equal?
A shopper on Sep 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for you question! Our sizing is unique and does not have an equivalent to traditional bra sizing. To get your proper size with our volumetric sizing system you will have to order the fit kit. The fit kit is $19.95+tax (if applicable) and comes with a $20 coupon off your first bra. If for any reason we do not have a size that will work for you the fit kit comes with a money back guarantee.
What do you do if you have two different cup sizes?
Jennifer C. on Nov 6, 2013
BEST ANSWER: That's a really good question.

Finding the best-fitting bra is a lot like finding the best-fitting shoes: no person's two feet are really the same size, and so people do best buying their shoes based on the larger size.

So we would encourage you to select your bra based on the larger size of the two breasts.

Please note that we do offer free returns (we pay return shipping):
I wear a 40DDD, would I be able to wear one of these bras?
Marsha W on Jul 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: You have to think a bit outside the box for a new Jockey bra. The volume of your breasts - like water filling a glass - is measured. Then you measure around your torso under the breasts. Those two measurements are your Jockey bra size - just about any combination of those two is available in the Jockey bra. So, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to wear one. I now have two and they are the most comfortable bras I've ever owned. The only thing I would change is to make the nude color light because my skin is very fair.
Are there any plans to go up in sizing? The people that have the most difficulty finding bras are people like me that wear 42DDD and up
K K on Apr 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm sorry that we don't make bras available in your size yet. But we've only just begun. As the business develops, we will continue to increase our offerings. And our bra designers will be relying on feedback from real consumers like you to guide them in that development. So on behalf of the designers--and all of us here at Jockey--thanks for sharing with us.
Why don't the bras come in band sizes of 32? The smallest band size is 34. :(
Heather D on Jun 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Heather,

I am very sorry that we do not make this bra in a band size with a cup larger then a size 8. We are working on expanding our sizes and our designers use feedback like yours to know where we need to make more sizes. Hopefully, in the future we will have a size that will work for you.
I was just wondering how the online fitting works?
evamarie g on Dec 13, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I obtained my fit via the kit they sent me - is that what you have? Anyway, the fit across the different bra styles is not consistent so in one I took a 34C and in another a 32D. Both do fit, but unfortunately, though I still have both bras, I rarely wear them because neither one is tremendously comfortable. I also have a very hard time finding the perfect, comfortable fit. I think it's just me and my shape. The underwire one fit great but I really do not like underwires. So I don't know if this helps you. Guess you just need to know that there is inconsistency.
Would you recommend this for a fuller bust?
A shopper on Nov 4, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the contour bra would be nice for a fuller bust. Just ensure that you properly use the fit kit for your cup size. (the plastic cup acts like the bra cup and your bust will losely fit in it, do not hold the cup tight against your rib cage) It is a comfortable bra.
I have the kit, purchasing my first bra. When do I take the
credit for the bra kit?
A shopper on Jul 14, 2014

If you can not locate the coupon code in either of those locations; please call one of our personal shoppers at 1-800-562-5391 and we will be happy to provide you with the code.

BEST ANSWER: Currently, Jockey® bras fit most women who traditionally wear between 32A and 44E. As our new REALFIT system is so unlike any previously offered measuring options, we are unable to translate your traditional bra measurements into our new Volumetric System. The best way to ensure a proper fit is to either visit one of our Jockey Store locations for a free fitting with one of our Personal Bra Fit experts, or to purchase a fit kit online at: Hope this helps!
