Not what pictured
The picture shows the inside of the leg to be about 4" from top to bottom. In reality, the leg of the underwear is barely 2". I want what is pictured: Low rise at the waist and a little bit longer leg like what is pictured.

Good but not great
The fit is wonderful, however the crotch started to deteriorate after only a half dozen washings on one pair. Could be a stain remover (Clorox for colors) was too strong for this particular fabric.

Best boxer briefs I've found
I' recently switched from regular briefs to boxer briefs and have tried several trunk/boxer brief styles so far. These are the best, just edging out the "pouch" style. The rise is perfect (low), leg length is good, waistband flat and comfortable, legs don't creep up too much, and don't roll, stretch out or otherwise create problems as many others do. I just wish the color palette was expanded beyond black and white!

Great Underwear!
I've tried several different kinds of boxer briefs looking for something that I could wear every day. These are the best fitting ones I've found. They are a great length, low rise, and fit very well.

Comfortable Cotton and Great Fit
These are very comfortable boxer briefs and are among my favorites. The best feature is the low rise cut. They stay put and don't sag like the classic boxer briefs do. Because they are cotton they remain comfortable all day long. They do retain perspiration moisture however (also due to the cotton fabrication) so I don't recommend for athletic uses. They hold up nicely after many washings and are a good value for the money.

Really pleased with these boxer briefs. Love the low rise, which works well for someone shorter. Legs stay in place and don't ride up.

Perfect Boxer Brief
I bought these for winter wear, to provide a little more coverage than classic briefs, but they have become a favorite! The stretch cotton keeps its shape and support all do long, and does not stretch out like most cotton boxer briefs. The vertical fly that reaches down into the pouch is far better than the classic keyhole fly. Only need more colors. But, unfortunately, this style is apparently being discontinued since they are now on clearance.

what is the length of the leg?
A shopper on Sep 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, this item has 10 1/4 inch side seam and a 2 inch in seam.
What size should I order for a 35inch waist (measured with tape where the low rise boxer brief would sit)?
A shopper on Dec 22, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question, the size large measures a 36-38 and the size medium measures a 32-34. Typically, I will tell people to go with the size larger when in a sizing situation. What I suggest is going with a medium and large and return the one that does not fit. We offer free returns and exchanges on each order.
What is the difference between 8421 and 8494 boxer brief ?
A shopper on Mar 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! Both of those style numbers refer to our Jockey Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Boxer Brief. Style 8494 would be our current color and style number offering for this particular style, while 8421 would be our preivously offered style number. Both feature the same great product, but from time to time we do update our style numbers for our department store customers. Beyond that change, and a slightly different color offering, both of these styles feature that same great stay-dry feel you've come to love! If you had any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
what is difference between 8495 and 8494?
A shopper on Jul 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These boxer briefs are identical in material composition. The only difference I have seen is that the 8494 is standard length Boxer brief and the 8495 is midway which runs longer in the leg. Both feel and fit the same and offer excellent comfort and minimal ride up. The preference for the individual that is weat them is abot leg length - standard boxer brief length - approximatlel mid thigh vs. Midway that runs longer in the leg. Color selection in 8494 is really excellent - many choices. Not as many colors, that I found in the midway 8495. I personally like the 8494 better as I am short and prefer the shorter length vs. anything Midway. Hope this helps..
Do these come in white?
Kent M on Aug 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.

I wish we could have found more people like you, who enjoyed our Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Boxer Brief. It was, alas, discontinued due to poor sales performance. I ran a quick scan on inventory in our warehouse and our outlet stores (sometimes we can find discontinued products there). But no luck: the colors that are showing on the website is all that we have left remaining, and we will not be receiving any additional inventory. Sorry about that.

I wish I could refer you to something else, but unfortunately, we have nothing else quite like it. It was unique (which no doubt also explains your determination to find it amid our array of other products).

So one way or another, you'll need to find a new product, and we'd like it to be a Jockey one. So I hope you'll consider the many products on our Web site.

And better yet, why not give one of our personal shoppers a call? It's free and they'd be glad to help. You can reach them weekdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central at 1-800-562-5391.

Meanwhile, we will pass your feedback on to our merchandising and sales staff as products are often brought back when consumer demand is great enough.

Hope this helps!
