Bikini
I've worn this style of your product for many years and have enjoyed doing so. HOWEVER, I DO NOT like the revised model, at all! WHY did it need a re-design, may I ask? I'm curious. Sadly, in the future my underware purchases will not be from Jockey.

Most comfortable brief ever.
I've been a fan of the bikini brief since I was 19 years old. I've always found them fun, fashionable, and they always kept everything in place. Being 36 now, I was sad to see the original style discontinued, as I thought my favorite underwear was no longer going to be available. I was however excited to see they were updated in a new modern fabric, and fit. They aren't as low cut as the original fit but wow, THEY ARE COMFORTABLE. They feel so great all day. I will purchase more, and glad to see the new available colors as well. I highly recommend this to any guy who is a fan of the original bikini brief, and any one who is a little more bold in their underwear preference.

Great low rise brief
This is a great fitting brief and I hope Jockey will continue with it, although it is not a replacement for the Elance bikini and is not a true bikini. It is cut more like a low rise brief in the rise and leg openings. The fabric is heavier and there are front seams. It is great for a different brief to use in addition to the Elance and I wish Jockey still offered both. I have used the Elance bikini (and string bikini) for many years and would like to see it come back in its original form from years ago. Unfortunately the cut and fit of the Elance bikini changed over the years such that the product was unpredictable in fit, which may have contributed to a decline in sales leading to its retirement. The version from mid-90's to late 2000 was the best fit.
The only major complaint with this item is that the stitching in the current white/blue line color is abrasive inside the leg cut and can cause chaffing. I have not yet tried all the colors but that is one issue that Jockey should pay attention to for this product to succeed. The same problem occurred in the later productions of the Elance bikini, especially toward the end.
It would be good if Jockey would offer color packaging such that both garments are the same color, as some of the choices require purchasing an undesirable color to obtain a great one.
I hope to see this product for many years to come.

Terrific quality and true to size
These are made of great quality material. The old elance product was thin and variable in quality. This is smooth cotton, medium thickness, and with the right amount of spandex. My wife noticed them right away when when folding laundry saying they were good quality. I hope Jockey keeps making these for a long time to come. I agree with the reviews asking for more colors; white, maroon, plum, brown, beige, there are a lot of colors that would work.

Better than nothing
JOCKEY'S Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Bikini is not a bad replacement for the discontinued Elance Style. Although similar in style, I find that the cotton/spandex blend feels warmer and not as comfortable. I would prefer these if they were 100% combed cotton. As nice as this product is , I am still hoping that JOCKEY reconsiders and brings back The Elance Style. They were unique and one of a kind.

The New Improved Poco is Here
when I could not find Poco briefs on line I was bummed...but then realized these are the replacement. New and improved!

Jockey came through
The first package of two briefs arrived and there was a disparity in the sizing of the two briefs. A note to Jockey and the problem was quickly resolved. These do fit well and are very comfortable.

why discontinue the elance men's bikini?????
Cheryl b on Aug 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Cheryl, I am very sorry that we have discontinued the style your are looking for. This item was discontinued due to poor sales performance. I will pass your suggestion along to our marketing and development team and hopefully we will have them again in the future.
Will these come in a ribbed material like the Elance had a year or so ago?
Gary G on Aug 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Gary, at this time it does not look like we plan on having a ribbed selection for this item. I will pass your suggestion on to our design team and hopefully we will come out with a ribbed selection in the future.
I too am sorry the Elance was discontinued. If sales were poor, perhaps it was the lack of interesting fabric prints that were available in early Elance sets and color choices that included gray. Gray? How boring.
A shopper on Jan 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I am very sorry that we discontinued your favorite Elance collection. Thank you for your feedback, I will pass it on to our merchandising and product development team and hopefully we will have this item available again.
Is the front of this bikini single-ply like the old Elance bikini, or does it have two layers of fabric?
A shopper on Sep 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: There are two layers of fabric in the front, but being the same color as the brief, difficult to detect, initially.
My husband had been wearing Elance for many years until they were discontinued. We are both disappointed about this, since he continues to 'try' new styles and they just aren't close to the comfort and simplicity of the Elance. PLEASE, bring it back!!! This is more a beg than a question, I'll admit. Does anyone know of any brand that has something similar to Elance? esh
A shopper on Feb 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your message, and I apologize for the disappointment. I wish we could have found more people like your husband, who enjoyed our Elance Men's Collection. It was, alas, discontinued due to poor sales performance.

Meanwhile, we will pass your feedback on to our merchandising and sales staff as products are often brought back when consumer demand is great enough.
Is this the new Poco style?
R A on Sep 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This product was my favorite. I am very careful with my last few Poco briefs. Hopefully, the Low-Rise Cotton will meet my need. I also use the Elance Bikini, but find myself adjusting them repeatedly.
Why don't you show all the colors on the model like other sites do? I'm not going to buy what I can't see.
A shopper on May 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for that excellent suggestion! My manager said he will include your feedback in a report to our Web design team. They are planning to revamp the site to make it easier to navigate, so we really do appreciate your feedback, and displaying the colors of each style on the model pictured sounds like a great idea. Thank you for your feedback, it really does help!
Really like the Elance Poco brief - would like to see them return. Until then, what's the closest choice for the same comfort?
A shopper on Nov 16, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I am very sorry that we discontinued your favorite. I will pass on your suggestion that we bring this item back in the future. We have come out with a new item that is not exactly the same but very similar. There has been quite a bit of positive feedback on this new item and many men like even more the the Poco brief. The lJockey® Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Brief can be found at the following link: http://www.jockey.com/catalog/product/jockey-low-rise-cotton-stretch-brief
why discontinue the elance men's bikini? I will add my 2cents and say that I'm disappointed too. I have worn the elance bikini for at least 15 years. They were much more comfortable than anything else I have ever tried. If sales were too low to justify continuing, then upgrading aspects (like colors perhaps) to be more competitive would have been a better approach in my opinion. But retaining the essential characteristics (sizing, material, inner cotton, covered waist band, fit) are what made the product. I have read recent reviews of the "similar replacement". I'm not encouraged. I will try, but only one set. And will begin my search of other brands to find a suitable replacement. Maybe it will be Jockey, but from the reviews it does not sound highly likely.
Jon G on May 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I sure wish we could have found more people like you. Due to poor sales performance our Jockey Men's Elance Bikini was retired, and we have no more. Many of our customers who enjoyed this style have since begun to migrate to our new Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Bikini (style 8491). You can find this style online at: http://www.jockey.com/catalog?q=8491 Meanwhile I am forwarding a suggestion to our design team on your behalf that we bring our Elance collection back. I know that they depend on the input of customers such as your-self to help guide our sales offerings. Thank you for sharing, it really does help!
Really liked the elance Mens Bikini. I've tried the Low rise stretch and the microfiber versions.....
Not even close. When are you bringing the elance 100% cotton bikini back??
Mark P on Jun 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I wish we could have found more people like you, who enjoyed our Jockey Men's Elance Bikini. It was, alas, discontinued due to poor sales performance. I ran a quick scan on inventory in our warehouse and our outlet stores (sometimes we can find discontinued products there). But no luck: there's not a single piece to be found. Sorry about that. We are expecting our men's Elance collection to return to our sales offerings here at Jockey.com as an exclusive online only item sometime before the end of the summer though! Hope this helps!
This a similar question to another one I asked. Will there be new colors for fall 2015?
A shopper on Jun 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question about our Jockey Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Bikini. Unfortunately, we aren't told exactly when new colors will be released for our styles, but generally it is coordinated with the release of our catalogs. I would suggest checking back at the end of June and the end of August. If we receive new colors, it would be at those times. Hope this helps
I only wore the elance briefs. I ordered them online every six months or so. What is the closest thing to them?
A shopper on Apr 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I sure wish we could have found more people like you. Due to poor sales performance our Jockey Men's Elance Bikini was retired, though many of our customers have begun to migrate to this exact style as an excellent alternative to our Elance Bikini. I would certainly suggest our Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Bikini as a great alternative to that previously offered style. Hope this helps!
Why is the product marketed as a "bikini", when the side seam length matches the length of the seamfree low rise brief (as well as the other fashion briefs you currently sell)?
A shopper on Dec 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, I am very sorry for the confusion, in additional to being a lower rise the bikini style refers to how it fits on the body as well. For example, a brief come more straigt across the leg where as a bikini has a slight curve to the leg. This is not as low as other style of bikinis but is still considered a bikini due to the shape of the garment.
How is the fabric on these? Is theRE a front panel? Are they see through like the Elance? Looking for bikinis that are not too sheer
A shopper on Apr 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Material is less flimsy than the Elance. I gave up on Elance in favor of these a few years ago.
There is a front panel (no fly) that has doubled up fabric for more coverage and support. Not sheer or see through but I must admit I have not tried these in white. I can't imagine the white are see through because of the double fabric front panel. I also note that the fit is better than others I've tried due to the stretch fabric containing 5% spandex. Breathable, seams are comfortable as is the waistband.
I hope this helps.
will these shrink any?? love the fill but lots of stretch and would these stretch out???
donny r on Apr 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: That’s a great question! At Jockey we do not use preshrunk cotton in any of our style offerings. What this means is that while the product might be slightly large upon first wearing, after the first couple of washes it should shrink down to the proper size. With the elastic included in this styles fabric content, this particular style is designed to hold its shape true over the course of a day’s wear. Hope this helps!
Which is which? The image for the blue option is slightly longer down the sides than the image for the black option (which I think looks more bikini-style than the blue). Which one is the accurate depiction?
A shopper on Oct 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. I have taken a look over a sample of this item here in our offices, and the picture of this item in the blue is the exact representation of this style. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
Will you new colors for Summer 2015?
C N on Apr 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you very much for your question. Our new fashion colors are generally planned out more than a year in advance, but unfortunately, we are not told what the new colors will be or when they will be available. Generally, when we have new colors for our styles, it correlates with the releases of our catalogs. With that being said, if we are going to have new colors, I would suggest checking in the first few weeks of May or the first few weeks of July. Hope this helps.
There are two colors shown on the web site. Which color is the main fabric color, and which one is the trim?
Sharon H on Jan 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I only bought black;all same color. Also, they seem to get loose as you wear them, according to my boyfriend. The older version did not stretch out.
I live in Santa Monica CA. Which stores close to me carry your underwears?
Atom D on Nov 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. While we are carried at most major department stores, the best place to visit to find Jockey products, other than Jockey.com, would be our Jockey Outlet store locations. You can find the store nearest through our store locator at: http://www.jockey.com/ShoppingGuide/StoreLocator
Why the specific color combinations provided? Jockey REALLY can't offer all combinations? Or Singles! I want Black and White, Black
And Grey, Black and White, Grey and Grey. And RED. ANNNND three packs! SO JOCKEY needs to offer Elance AGAIN! Poor sales...really. Couldn't carry style till they cycled back in favor? Thanks for nothing Jockey! What's WRONG their your marketing people? The CEO making the product choices? Finally, Jockey needs to start making their products Only in the U.S.A. again!
A shopper on Jul 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you very much for your question.

Our product design team has been monitoring popular merchandising trends, along with consumer feedback like yours, and so we are experimenting with more three-packs. There definitely is something to be said for the value proposition when each package contains a larger quantity of merchandise. I'll forward your online product review along to our design team as an additional source of information.

On behalf of all of us here at Jockey, I want to assure you that we respect your concerns regarding preference for manufacturing in the USA. And so this feedback is compiled and included in feedback reports to senior management.

Also, we are looking to bring back the men's Elance Collection. They should hopefully be available by the end of the month on Jockey.com.

Hope this helps!
How large is large?
A shopper on Aug 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry. A large is a waist size of 36-38 inches. Thank you and have a good day.
Are the cotton stretch bikinis being discontinued? They are a great fit and look
James S on Aug 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for contacting Jockey.

This item will be carried to the end of the year.

The item that is comparable to this one is the Elance Bikini style 1014 with the original "bikini" fit.

Have a great day!
What is the outseam (Outer hip) length? I'm trying to compare it to the low-rise cotton stretch bikini.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, this item has about a 4 inch side seam. Hope this helps!
Waistband & Deceptive Preview Images, or is it just me? --- I've bought 2 packs (4 pairs) of these when they were extremely new/fresh on the shelf of the online store and initially thought they were going to be good. After a while though, you start to notice. There is something really off about the waistband from the pairs that I own. Whenever I would use the men's room, I noticed that there would be this moist feeling on my skin where the waistband digs in. Another concern is that after a few washes, the waistband has begun to roll. Is it just my pairs or would they be different now than when they were extremely new?
A shopper on Oct 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you very much for your question, and I am very sorry that you are having troubles with your Jockey Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Bikini. Every complaint we receive about any of our products does get forwarded on to our Quality Assurance department for review. Also, we do stand behind our products 100%. Please give one of our personal shoppers a call at 1-800-562-5391, and they will be more than happy to come up with a solution to the issues you are experiencing.
where are the xxl sizes ?
A shopper on Aug 31, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Although our Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Bikini is not available in XXL right now, our merchandising and design team is currently considering whether perhaps our collections are too restrictive in terms of size. So, they've asked us to forward on to them any feedback which would tend to confirm that hypothesis. So I will be forwarding your online product review on to them for review. Thank you for your feedback, it really does help!
I notice small color selection, only one in large size. Is this one being discontinued now?
A shopper on Jul 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. I'm sorry to for the inventory shortage on this item. I am happy to let you know though that our Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Bikini is no way shape or form discontinued at this time. You can expect to see this style's stock replenished very soon! Hope this helps!
Are you going to sell the cotton string bikini?
A shopper on Jun 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I wish we could have found more people like you, who enjoyed our Men's Elance String Bikini, which was 100% cotton. It was, alas, discontinued due to poor sales performance. I ran a quick scan on inventory in our warehouse and our outlet stores (sometimes we can find discontinued products there). But no luck: there's not a single piece to be found. Sorry about that.

But, the good news is that we have been informed that this style should be back available sometime in July as a Jockey.com exclusive. Hope this helps.
Are these available in white?
A shopper on May 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Although we don't offer our Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Bikini in white right now, I am making a note of it in our database for our merchandisers. They've been looking for consumer insights to help them in their color selection, and so we really appreciate you taking the time to contact us. You never know -- your feedback may just change our underwear (at least in terms of color offerings).
Follow up to my question about showing all the color versions of this brief (definitely not a bikini) ... First, thank you for the answer and plans to revamp the website. Why do you show what's not for sale? If you look at the picture on he left, the model is wearing a very cool blue; now look at the swatches on the right and you'll see that none of them matches the color on the left. I used to buy only Elance. But, when I'd go to the website (and the catalogue) the one picture you would show wouldn't match anything that was actually for sale, so I stopped buying Jockey. I hope when you revamp you'll only show items that are actually for sale.
George L on May 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm sorry for the confusion. The color choice the model is wearing in this listing of our Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Bikini (the light vibrant blue with an orange trim around the waistband) would actually be our color selection Peacock Feather, which is available in the Orange Rose/Peacock Feather color pack. Thank you for your feedback regarding Jockey.com. I have forwarded that information up to our ecommerce team leaders as I know they depend heavily on the input of customers such as your-self. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I can't find the lance poco brief, my favorite for many years. Is there an identical product?
A shopper on May 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. I sure wish we could have found more people like you. Due to poor sales performance our Elance Poco Brief was retired, and we have no more. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Our customers have been migrating to our Low-Rise Cotton Stretch Brief - 2 Pack (style 8492) (viewable at http://www.jockey.com. Just enter the style number in the "find" field in the upper right corner and click "find").
