Could not find a size to fit me (small)
I could not find a size to fit me! I traditionally wear a size 36A (140 lb, 5'7", small frame), but this size 1 cup was too large. I must have been right in between the 34 and 36, as I tried both and could not get a good fit. Even though the band has several hooks to adjust the size, it was always just a little too loose or a little to tight (both the 34 and 36). No matter the size or adjustment, the band always gapped out at the top, right under both arms. That they did not fit, no matter how I tried, was disappointing.

Jockey, you have a large market out there that you are not serving!!! Could you make a size 0 cup for all of us out there who are just barely an A size? (Notice on the clearance racks which size is never on clearance....)

Now, about the packaging. I received my bras by mail (free shipping - thank you). Two bras came in a parcel that was about 14" x 14" x 6". Inside that parcel were two beautiful blue boxes, each a little longer than a shoe box, and inside each of those was a bra that was very beautifully presented. This did have the effect of making me feel as if I'd purchased something 'special', but the bra was really no more special than other bras. Believe it or not, one of my first thoughts was that this much packaging had to have really increased the price of the item. I am a dollar-conscious conscious consumer who was desperate enough (i.e. uncomfortable) to TRY a $60 bra if it really really fit perfectly. But, to save $15-$20-$25 per bra, I would have been 100% happy with a LOT less packaging and presentation coupled with a reasonable USPS First Class shipping fee ($3-$4 should do it to send a parcel that weighs a few ounces).

So, at this point I am out $20 for the fit kit (which also could have been customized a bit to save resources, manufacturing costs, and shipping); I did not need to even consider trying the 7 larger cups. And I am sad to say that I am still uncomfortable with what I am wearing, as I had to return the three different bras I tried (34-1, 34-2, 36-2).

I hope, if you are still reading, that this nicely made, good quality product works out better for you than it did me.

Completely conformed to my body, LOVE IT
When I first heard that Jockey was revolutionizing bra fit and sizing, I was excited. However, I was skeptical after reading several of the reviews of the Modern Foam Cup. Because I was so impressed with the ease of ordering the fit kit, the quick delivery of the kit and the quality of the kit (including the instruction booklet and packaging), I went ahead with buying the bra.
I am 51 years old, 5'4" and 125 pounds. I normally wear a 34C in other bras. I purchased a 4/30 in the Jockey bra.
The comments posted were true AT FIRST. There does seem to be a lot of material surrounding the underwire. The band does seem to be really tight. The area between the cups does irritate the skin and is itchy. I wanted to like this bra so much that I kept it on all day and sure enough after a few hours I forgot that I had the bra on. It felt even better the second day; no itchiness, no tightness, just a very flattering silhouette! I've now had this bra for several weeks. It has conformed to my body and truly does feel like it was made just for me. The bra doesn't move or slip throughout the day. The straps do not fall off of my shoulders nor do they feel like they are cutting into my skin.
Jockey has provided fabulous customer service; the bra arrived within 5 days of ordering and it was beautifully packaged. GREAT JOB Jockey! I look forward to more styles with the same great fit.

Love this Bra!!
I went to the Jockey outlet store to get a fitting for these new bras and check them out in person. After my fitting I tried the bra on and found that it fit me better than any bra I have ever owned. The Bra provided complete coverage for my entire breast with no gaps and no spillage. It was perfect! I have worn it all day today and can not get over the wonderful fit and comfort. I may throw out the rest of my poorly fit bras.

Confusing measurement directions
I love the bra and the fit of the cups, but I was confused when measuring the band size and unfortunately ordered too small. The bra cups fit well but it is uncomfortably tight.

When I measured, I got 32" on the tape measure, exactly. I wasn't sure if that was the measurement for the first, middle or last set of hooks and I was afraid to go up a size, because I didn't want to order it too big. So I went by the directions and when the bra arrived the 32" fit tightly at the last set of hooks. (In other words, the measurement should be correlated to the center hook on the bra.)

In the future, please indicate what set of hooks the measurement you get will fall on; that way people can make adjustments accordingly.

If you could send me a set of hook extenders, that would be fantastic! Thank you,

So disppointed in this bra!
I had high hopes for this bra, but it fit worse and was more uncomfortable than the bras I hoped to replace with it. Underwire poked through and chafed my chest, bra was cut too high under arms and rubbed there, too. Lower half of cups fit fine, but top half gapped. Band rode up. I wore it for one day, couldn't wait to get home and take it off and return it.

I LOVE this bra
I am hard to fit, because I have a big chest and small breasts. This bra, obtained through the fit kit process, is great. This is my third. The first time, I ordered two and although I was between band sizes, I ordered the larger one, not the smaller one. I wore those for a long time and loved them, but the smaller band size is a better a fit. PLEASE DO NOT STOP MAKING this bra.

Love this bra
This is an expensive bra, no doubt. I chose to get fitted in the store which I think actually helped. I love that can be comfortable in this bra after a breast lump removal. I need underwire for support and this does it for me. These wash well - in a mesh bag and air dry. I do agree, however with other posters that perhaps the price point could be lower if the packaging was reduced. Overall a great bra.

Couldn't get fit right.
Despite having the kit the fit on the cup was never right. I tried 2 different ones and had to return both. The cups were also deformed after 1 wash. I did machine wash on the gentle, hand wash cycle in a lingerie bag and hung to dry.

It was comfortable.

Band and Straps Too Tight
I will exchange this for the next band size up. Hopefully that will fix the problem (even though the Fit Kit 's measuring tape indicated I should be the smaller band size).
June 11, 2013
Incredibly Uncomfortable--Too Tight
The bra was measured on me at 32". I have NEVER worn a 32, I have always been a 34 or 36. The 32 is so uncomfortable that I can't wear it, by the end of the day, I feel like I'm about to be cut in half at the diaphram. I spent way to much for the bras to be discarded, please help.

What are the washing instructions for my jockey fit bra?
Linda Y on Jan 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: "Hand wash. Line dry."
Would you recommend this for a fuller bust? I'm not a big lady, but my girls are buxom. If not, any other recommends?
A shopper on Nov 4, 2013
BEST ANSWER: It is a great bra. Comfortable and supportive, but not too structured or binding. It would work well for you, I think. One small problem for me with this style is the metal on the straps. I have a nickel allergy & had to cover the back side next to my skin to prevent irritation.
I am not sure about the cup size. It seems like I am between sizes but theey say to go with the bigger one but am afraid itnwill be too big.Which should I do?
A shopper on Feb 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. I would suggest going with the larger size as our sizing guidelines suggest. If this size does not work, no worries, we offer free returns and exchanges on every bra purchase.
I usually have problems (pain) in the shoulders from bras that I've purchased elsewhere. Any problems with this bra?
A shopper on Nov 11, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I have not had any shoulder problems with this bra. The bra is very comfortable but the metal rings in the front have given me bruises. I would try the classic foam cup bra instead of this one.
I am normally a 40 G/H . Are these cups going to be in my size or will it be a waste to order the kit?
A shopper on Oct 30, 2013
BEST ANSWER: You are likely to fall outside and above our current size range if you are currently wearing:

-High end cup sizes, such as G, H, I and J in all band sizes
-42DDD and above letters in 42 band
-44DDD and above letters in 44 band
-46 band size and above

Would you ever be making this bra in a cotton knit?
Jane P on Nov 8, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Jane, I am very sorry but we do not currently make a cotton version of our bras. I will pass your suggestion on to our product development team.
After breastfeeding my two children I have the saggy mom boobs. Will this bra work well for that issue?
A shopper on Sep 10, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, yes our bras are great for women who have breastfed. We suggest going with style 6701 and 6702 for shaping and support.
When are you going to offer more bra colors?
A shopper on Jan 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your suggestion that we add more colors to our collection. At this time we do not have plans to expand the color offerings. I will pass on your suggestion and hopefully in the future we will have more colors.
My band size is a 28 and there seems to be nothing smaller than a 30. Is this correct?
Kathryn T on Apr 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi Kathryn,

I am very sorry that we do not offer a band size smaller then 30. We are collecting all feedback and exploring the option of making bras with smaller bands. Hopefully in the future we will have a band size 28.
I have a fit kit and measure myself to need a 4/28. Will a 4/30 work for me? I would love to try this bra but I'm concerned a 30 will be too big; my other bras are size 28-I/26-J. Any advice? Will any 28's be produced?
Belle on Dec 2, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Hi Belle,
Unfortunately at this time we do not offer anything smaller than a 30. This is a new venture for Jockey and hoping to expand our sizes. However, if you would like to try a 4/30 you certainly can we offer free returns and your money back if it doesnt work for you. You can print the label at www.jockey.com. If you have any other questions or concerns please give us a call at 1-800-562-5391
what is the most comfortable style for cup size 8?
A shopper on Nov 6, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I definitely recommend the Full Coverage #6701. I have ordered it in all three colors because it is so comfortable and lifting! I am an 8 cup and the thicker straps give the best support.
I need a bra with a little padding but don't want thick padding. Is the padding in this bra what you would consider thick or thin?
Michelle on Apr 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I was very pleased with my Jockey bra. Past experiences in trying to find the right fit, just didn't seem to work for me.
This bra is very comfortable, and the padding/material is perfect. Not too much, not too little.
Hope this answered your question.
How does this hold up after a few washings? Does it keep it's shape? Thanks for your help!
Linda S on Dec 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have three of these bras, they are my favorite. I have had one for a about a year and just recently bought two more. You cannot tell the difference between the three, the first one washes beautifully and still looks new. I rotate wearing my bras to give the elastic a rest and wash them in a bag on delicate in the washing machine.
I am used to a bra with 4 hooks and a broader back on the bra. Does the bra work with only 2 hooks for large busts?
A shopper on Jan 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this bra works for me for situations were thinner straps are a must. I need the maximum support I can find in a bra. I bought this style to work with scoop/boat necklines where thinner straps are needed. For that use, it is the best bra I have found. The comfort strap version of this is even better for everyday use. I judge the success of a style by how my breasts are positioned after a few hours of wear. The more I wear these bras, the bigger fan I am becoming.
what is the equivalent of a b cup?
A shopper on Aug 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for you question! Our sizing is unique and does not have an equivalent to traditional bra sizing. To get your proper size with our volumetric sizing system you will have to order the fit kit. The fit kit is $19.95+tax (if applicable) and comes with a $20 coupon off your first bra. If for any reason we do not have a size that will work for you the fit kit comes with a money back guarantee.
How do I purchase 34D?
Darlene E on Feb 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I agree with Darlene. I want to order now, not a week from now after I order the kit, receive it, work with it to determine my size and then find time to go back and order. And try to remember to use the $20 coupon. I am an online shopper and do not shop in the stores.
You should have made it easier, not multi-steps and more complicated. I know my regular bra size and would prefer to order two sizes that would be a close match and return one vs. the process you have mapped out.
As a career in process design as a management consultant, I also see that you are delaying sales with the fit kit step and loosing sales from people like me. Not a good move! I would like to see the business case on this one - it does not make business sense.
what number is cup is a C cup?
A shopper on Dec 13, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Hello,

That's a really good question.

Our sizing system is so unlike anything that's ever existed that we can't make a comparison to old sizing systems you've used to determine how you fit into our Volumetric system.

So you just have to try the fit kit: https://www.jockey.com/brafitkit

And that's why we ship it to you for free--and support it with a money-back guarantee.
how do i wash bras?
A shopper on Oct 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have been washing my Jockey Lightly Padded Comfort Wire (or I like to think of it as my Jockey Custom Bra) by placing in a formed lingerie bag and tossing into cold-water wash with everything else. Hang dry. It's that easy. No hand-washing necessary. Who has time for that? Best wishes!
