The camisole shaper seemed too small and difficult to get on until I combined it with the hi waist mini shaper. I pull on the mini shaper first and step into the camisole pulling it up over my hips. It is easy to get on this way. My figure is small, top to bottom. This might be difficult to do if hips are proportionately large. I love an all-in-one top with no extra straps for both cami and bra, and the total look is as invisible as a bare body.
I am 5'6" at 135 and need a large. I am flat chested so this gives me a nice natural look under tee shirts. It's ultra confortable and I've enjoyed wearing this for years...was so excited when I found them online.
Jockey used to make a NO PANTY LINE PROMISE camisole that they discontinued similar to this one (the other one didn't have a built-in bar) and I was so disappointed. Most camisoles aren't v-neck so it makes it difficult to wear low-cut shirts or blouses. With this camisole you get both the bust-enhancement of a bra and camisole - a cami-bra! I'm smaller chested and when I put it on, yay!, it gave me cleavage! The padding is not too thick and because the camisole is form-fitting, you don't have to worry about it becoming untucked from your pants or skirts. I wore it with a very form-fitting dress (yes, a dress!) and the waistline on the camisole was completely undetectable. I'm going to be buying two more in each color (black and nude/beige), because I'm paranoid they'll discontinue it, and I don't want to be heartbroken again! I've been wearing the NO PANTY LINE PROMISE product line since the day Jockey introduced it and I won't wear anything else!
I usually wear a med (36A) and I bought a X large! but I love this cami and will buy another. Esp for under shear tops and ones where smoothing the bulges improves the look. Its comfortable. Wish it came in a lighter beige/white as well!
I wanted this camisole to wear under clinging, low cut dresses (I'm not a pants/jeans person, even on weekends.) Although the reviews indicated the camisole ran small, I tried my luck because I am petite in the rib cage area and waist. Unfortuntely, even the XL was too small - it rides up in the waist area, although it fits in the bust area. It doesn't come in an XXL so I will have to return it. I am so disappointed - only because I love it and I can't keep it. Please make an XXL in this wonderful camisole so I can have one!!! Thanks for all your wonderful products - I'm hooked!
I wear this when I want a little support and figure shaping. It's a great product, but much easier to wear when wearing pants....under a dress I have to tuck it into my panties because it does ride up. Itf you make one as a body suit -PLEASE No UNDERWIRE- I'll buy them in every color! Oh, BTW, white would be nice to have also!
I've been wearing nursing tanks for a year and wanted a bra/cami combo without an underwire. This was a good find. I agree with other users that it is difficult to get on, but comfy once there. I went with a M after reading other reviews even though I am usually a small on top. I think I will try more in a S since I didn't feel like there was much shaping going on with the M.
I would completely love this camisole except they didn't put an edge on the bottom. Therefore the bottom rolls up under my clothing and appears unfinished. It's frustrating to have a mostly great piece where it's clear a lot of thought went into the construction at the breast, shoulder straps and material, but when they got to the bottom they didn't even put a hem line in to keep it firm to your body.
I had previously ordered this product in a M and thought it wasn't doing much shaping in the belly even though it was comfortable. Ordering a S was a bad idea. It chafes and is of no help in the shaping department since it keeps rolling up.
The fit on this is ridiculous! I wear a size 10 and ordered the XL because I didn't want it tight. I could not get it on! If you are larger than a B cup, don't bother with this. I can't give it any pros because obviously I returned it.
I have purchased other Jockey slimming products that I love. This one, however, did not work for me. It flattened out my breasts, but did not smooth my midsection. It was as if the top half was too small and the rest of it way too big. I'm a 32B, so flat breasts is the last thing I want!
If you are petite (i.e. short-waisted) then you will probably find that even with the straps at the shortest setting that this camisole doesn't fit properly. I am 5'4" and I had about an extra inch too much of strap that meant the camisole sat way too low. Also, the dark pinky-beige color that is supposed to be nude is most unattractive if you are a pale person: it would look much better on olive/latina skin.
