Great fit, lousy quality
I wear these every day and love the fit and design, especially the horizontal fly. I have pretty much worn these exclusively for the last 8-9 years. I am so glad to see other reviewers are having the same problem with this product wearing out quickly. I have been sending my worn out underwear back to Jockey for years now and asking them to please upgrade the seams and quality of fabric, but it's pretty obvious that they won't. Instead, they send me free replacements and an apology letter. So, I encourage everyone to do the same. Send in your expensive, worn out underwear and ask for replacements. Maybe then they will do something

My Favorite Skivs
I have worn Jockey Midway Briefs for almost 20 years. These were quality underwear back then. they are still great underwear but seem to tear at the seams rather quickly. I just purchased ten pair and four are already tearing at the crotch seam. The only reason the other six aren't torn is because they are still in the packages, unopened. I have tried buying a larger size but they were too large and they too wore out quickly. What a bummer. With this said, I still buy Jockey Midway Briefs because they are comfortable, and longer than all others. I've tried many brands and always come back to Jockey. Jockey stands behind their product and the sales are always great and makes up for the untimely wear.

Midway brief elastic unraveling
I been wearing the same style jockey briefs for a long time. but over time the quality seems to be deteriorating. This last batch seems to be the worst. One day after wearing the waist band started to unravel. Stitching started to come apart. I now have to go looking for another brand. It seems Jockey has put quality out the window. It is a shame. They use to be a good brand who care about quality.

Patent-worthy design
Pardon my language, but the pouch fly is the ultimate design when it come to fishing out your junk to take a wizz. i kid you not! Everything else that has been done before is lame. And, after you're done, everything dumps back into the zone of excellent comfort and support. Great cotton blend for breathablity, and the mid-thigh length to minimize chafing between the legs. It's impossible to find a better pair of men's underwear. Sure, some may complain about the short life of these underwear, but we have to be honest about the gain in comfort in exchange for durability.

I've tried the synthetic and moisture-wicking version, but it doesn't compare to the cotton blend version--especially for those who live in relatively low-humidity regions like the Pacific Northwest. I wouldn't trade this set of underwear for any other.

Jockey Midway Briefs beat the heat.
Three day delivery. Packaging very good. These are the best briefs on the market. Florida's climate means sweat, and these shorts hold up great in the heavy heat.

Best underwear money will buy
I have purchased these for years now. Tried many, many others but these are by far the best fit, keep you junk in check does not ride up and the waste band is the best, stays where it belongs. Really have to say, what I like best is your "boys" stay put. They do not slip here or there just very comfortable underwear.

Are these the 9" briefs?
A shopper on Dec 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I am sure that these are longer than 9'',if that is what is being referred to. These briefs begin at the hip and extend about 3/4 down the thigh for more of an athletic type of fit. They well wear for both dress and athletic purposes.

What is the best care for jockey mid way briefs to keep them from wearing out?
A shopper on Jan 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the best way to wash this item is to use cold water in a standard cycle or cotton wash cycle. To dry, warm tumble dry. This is the best way to get the longest life out of your garment.
Do the colored selections have a white band?
Anna S on Nov 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes. All Pouch items have a white waistband even when they body color is not white.
OK, winter is coming to Chicago, and these fit the cold weather, but the crotch has been tearing for years! Why is that? I wore them in 2002 and stopped because of the tearing, but I see that one customer has the same problem. Can this be resolved?
Darryl G on Sep 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm very sorry to hear that some of your garments have experienced seam failure. I would like to get a full report of this up to our quality assurance team for review. If you'd like to give one of our Personal Shoppers a call at 800-562-5391 we would be more than happy to assist you further in this matter. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Do you not make the extended leg midway pouch any more?
A shopper on Dec 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I am very sorry for the confusion, the longest midway that we have ever had is the pouch midway brief. The shorter version is called a boxer brief. In recent history, we have not had a long leg midway. We have only had long leg boxer briefs which is an interchangable term with midway brief.

I actually am looking for something like this product that has compression in the leg portions. Does Jockey have such a product?
Patrick K on Dec 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The ones you are looking at (cotton) do NOT have compression in them. The other pouch Midway brief I like much much better (Microfiber) but while they offer some compression they are not true compression shorts. I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle and the surgeon wants me to wear compression shorts. I am having trouble finding them.
Why can you make a underwear that the elastic stay up for a person with big belly ? My husband, like your classic brand, but it roll down when he sits down. Maybe with better elastic .we like jockey we been buying them for a long time .
A shopper on Jun 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't think the elastic band is the problem as you want both support and comfort. I think short of putting a belt on your underwear the band that is on these underwear are about as supportive and comfortable as you're going to find.
What is the actual leg/inseam length? We found some long leg boxer briefs a couple years ago and have not been able to find ant since. Midways in store are only about 4-5"... Thank you.

Do you deliver outside of the U.S?
A shopper on Jan 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: HI, Thank you for your inquiry. Currently we do not ship outside the United States. We do have an international site, jockeyinternational.com. Thank you and have a good day.
I only wear Jockey Midway briefs! I wish you made them in a low rise. I tried one of the low rise and thought it said midway but the legs were shorter. I have large calfs and the shorter ones ride up on me, it's very uncomfortable to say the least. I guess I am short waisted. Do you think they will ever make low-rise with the longer leg legth? Regardless Jockey is my brand!
John B on Sep 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi, Thankyou for you inquiry. I will pass on your suggestion onto our merchandising and sales staff. If demand is high enough for a low rise with longer leg lengths they will definitely look into selling them. Thank you and have a good day.
