I chose gueen size according to size chart. I feel I should have selected something in queen that sits below the waist. I have used this style for many years. Size 7 is a bit too small and wears out quickly. HELP!
I have been wearing this style panty for many years. They used to last for what seemed like forever. But as with all of my favorite companies and products, quality has deteriorated over time. That's the big disappointment.
far too costly to have so many defects can't be returned after laundering holes discovered when putting on to wear all don't have holes from pkg so couldn't return order would appreciate some compensation for having to discard defective items
There is no consistency in size of the ten pairs I purchased. One pair will fit fine and the next seems to be 2-3 sizes smaller. I have worn Jockey for many years and your quality has gone down substantially. I am definitely going to look at other brands when it is time to buy again. Thank you.
I should have believed the reviews that said the sizes have changed. I've purchased the same items from department stores for a couple of decades and they have been my favorite. Not any more. These are cut at least a size too small. Might even be TWO sizes too small, except I've never before been stupid enough to buy clothing that far off. I cringe over how much money I've wasted.
I ordered these thinking they would be just like the last ones I ordered in the same size and style. What a shock to find they had less material, thinner waistband elastic and not as much give at the legs as my "old" ones.
VERY DISAPPOINTED! I ordered the same size 8 I have ordered for years (in the same style that I've always loved). But the waist sizes in the 5-pack were all different, some with as much as a 2 inch difference! And most, if not all, were smaller than the normal size 8 Jockeys of this style that I've worn for years. I really can't wear most of them - they are too tight/uncomfortable at the waist. What I liked was the variety of colors, but it seems to have come with the downside of poor manufacturing/quality control. Would really like a refund.
Been wearing the "french cut" Jockey undies for years and love them. Even though they are a little expensive, I perfer the fit and comfort to any of the others less expensive ones that I've tried...nothing matches the ones from Jockey. I just couldn't pass up the deal offered for five pairs so purchased more. I just hope they never stop making them because I just don't know what I'd do if that happened!
I have always worn Jockey underwear. I will never wear anything different. It does seem over the years the material is thinner.....So does wear out quicker than I would like. I do appreciate this website and the amazing discounts you offer. Please consider a thicker panty.
The covered leg bands are very important for someone like me who is sensitive to elastic. I have been wearing these for years but have trouble finding them in our local department stores in my size. Thank you Jockey for being there!
I have worn these panties for around 25 years. Alway found them in the local department stores and typically bought black. Can't seem to find them in the stores. Wish you would offer a 5 pack in black.
Wish they'd offer these multi-packs in an all-black color pack. It's the best underwear color for women, in my opinion. I never buy white and rarely light pastels, but black, no matter how many washes or years of wear, never looks old and ratty.
Let me add my voice to the chorus: I've been a faithful Jockey underwear customer for over a decade. I've worn several styles of Jockey underwear over the years, but the Classics have always been the style I ended up coming back to when the other Jockey styles I've worn were inevitably discontinued. The classics fit well, last a while, are comfortable, and look ok too. They're an all-round great panty.
I love the Classics French cut panties - IN BLACK. I won't buy a multi-color pack because I don't want any other colors. And no, I don't want to buy full briefs, a style I really dislike, in order to get an all-black pack either. I've been waiting for the french cut all-black packs to be offered again in french cut Queen sizes for MONTHS and MONTHS.
By the length of time that these all-black packs have been unavailable, it seems clear that Jockey has decided to not listen to their customers for whatever reason, and are not planning to bring them back. And unfortunately there aren't a lot of other styles of french cut options left in queen sizes either.
Unfortunately waiting longer is no longer an option for me, so I guess I'm going to have to look elsewhere for my underwear.
This is kind of a silly way to lose long-term customers, Jockey. The feedback contained in many people's comments here definitely indicates that there's a strong market for them.
I found that the panties ran small. They are still comfortable, but they do ride up. I use them for everyday wear. I prefer 100% cotton underwear and it's hard to find good quality cotton panties. In the past I always turned to Jockey for this item, but since either I've expanded, or the sizes have shrunk, I think it might be time to search out a new brand.
Delivery came in seven days and in good condition. However, immediately after placing the order I noticed a typo in my address and contacted customer service. I never received any response. Fortunately, the post office figured it out.
I have loved this style of panty for at least 10 years. It fits me, looks good, isn't something an old lady would wear (although I'm 61 now), and is incredibly comfortable. When I couldn't find it in any stores, I panicked. Now what do I do? I tried a few new options and hated all of them compared to the old "French cut". Finally, in a desperate attempt, I went on line to see if I might find them there. Luckily, your company not only had them, but they had them on sale. The really bad news is that it looks like you are going to discontinue this particular panty...wide waistband and all. Now what? I'd stock up, but the selection of colors and prints was pretty limited. Might do it anyway. Hope you change your mind about this re-design. Sincerely, Catherine Moore, Portland, Oregon
I bought these in a package, and the size/fabric quality were not consistent with all pairs in the package. One of the waistbands seemed smaller than the others, and wasn't very flexible/elastic. I find that even if I buy the pairs in singles that the size/fabrics are not of consistent quality.
The pack of 5 had a narrower waistband than the pack of 3, despite being the same size on the pack. They fit, but are not as comfortable. Also, more color options would be nice.in the packs of 3 I got from the store, the patterned items are smaller, and the fabric is stiffer, i.e. less comfortable.[...] I'd prefer the mail man not know my underwear choice!
I have been wearing these french cuts for years and have gained no weight.
I find that the elastic is much tighter compared to my other jockey french cuts. I ordered some a few years ago and found a pack I had not opened. They were much bigger in the elastic than the new ones I just ordered. Not happy. This new elastic actually pinches. I weight 119 and the size 8 queen cut elastic was too tight! I am a swimmer so my hips are under 36". What happened?
I have become a very dissatisfied Jockey customer due to the very inconsistent sizing. A few months ago I bought a size 8 and it's a bit too large. This purchase a size 8 is way too small. Earlier this year I bought something in a size 7 and it's way smaller than previous size 7s I've purchased. It's not me, I can hold the items side by side and it's less fabric. I cannot shop Jockey again because I simply don't know what I'm getting in terms of size.
I always used to prefer the Jockey Classic French Cut style (compared to Elance), but now the cut has become skimpy on the rear and the fabric thinner. I bought some of both this last purchase and the Elance still fits as it used to, so unless they change that cut, too, I guess I'll be switching over.
I recently lost some weight and was very excited to buy some new Jockey high-cut briefs... my very favorite panty! Unfortunately, the fit was smaller than indicated and I exchanged my super-baggies for super-tighties! Also, two pairs came out of the first wash with small holes. I handed the surviving pairs down to my daughter and ordered some of the Elance that were on sale. Hope they work!
I should have known better - I've had this problem before. For some reason, when I buy this same style in single packages, they fit. When I buy in 3 or 5 packs, there is a significant variance in sizing. Strangely, some colors are more likely to fit than others as well. Most of what I bought in these two 5-packs are too small. I laid all of the panties in a stack and found there was at least an inch difference all the way around from the largest to the smallest - yet they were all the same size and style. Go figure.
When they fit, I love them. Getting them to fit is a challenge.
I prefer the cut and fit of JMS hi-cut panties. Maybe I ordered the wrong equivalent style in Jockey. I returned the purchase and will order JMS instead. Their website did not offer specific color configurations like Jockey, but now JMS online customer service is working withj me to remedy this.
It's nice that you will accept these back if not happy with the purchase. I have not shopped for another brand but now will need to look for new brand as I can see the quality is not there anymore. To use cheap cotton that will not wear well I don't understand. Unless I the fabric changes these will be the last I purchase.
