I have worn Jockey boxers for about 44 years and this is one of the best. I have tried other brands and they don't compare to Jockey. The fit, feel and duribility is unmatched by any other brand. I've tried the designer brands and they can't come close to the superior feel and fit of Jockey. I plan on continuing to buy nothing but Jockey.
Took a chance on the pattern since the on-line swatch wasn't clear on the appearance and was pleasantly surprised. Bought on clearance for a great price. Not sure if I'd pay full price, but certainly would purchase another pair should I run across a bargain.
bought these for my son. overall nice fit, nice fabric, nice colors, but the seat was just a bit too tight, were ok, but since he wears them to bed, he likes them looser. he is VERY skinny so that was even more surprising that they were a bit snug. just hope they don't shrink too much.
Finally a boxer with a longer leg! The fabric is great and I like the fabric waistband. These fit and feel great. The only complaint is that the fabric wrinkles and bunches up after washing, but I iron my boxers anyway (and my wife thinks I'm nuts) but I want the leg as long as possible and the hem laying flat.
Way too blousy for the waist size. The fabrics and contrasting waistband are pretty up-to-date but they're unnecessarily long in the leg and full in the seat if you're inclined to wear tailored slacks or suit pants.
First I bought a pair of small size boxers, and when it did not fit in properly, I returned and ordered a pair of medium size ones. The whole process of dealing with a Jockey business associate was super smooth. I admire them for being a thorough professional and ever-eager to listen to my concern and offer prompt solution. I also liked the concept of sharing a name on the receipt folder (person who packed the product); it definitely added a smile on my face!!
The material feels great and they look great. The waist band is fine but from the waist down they fit tighter than I like my boxers to fit. I'm 5`5" and 140lb and wear size small, I'm not a big guy. If you like your boxers to fit loose like I do, I wouldn't recommend these.
As others have reported, these are a bit tight in the thighs. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size larger, but they were too baggy. Returned for my normal size; would prefer looser fit in the legs. Have Jockey boxers from a few years ago, which still fit very well. They seem to keep changing styles. ?? Still...these fit better that other product purchased in the past year.
I have two sets of this product, the old and the new ones. The old ones were 90% cotton and 10% spandex, so they were soft, comfortable and did not wrinkle when washed. The old ones had a smooth waist band covered with fabric, like the green plaid on still used in the ads, but no longer available.
The newer ones are made of 100% cotton and NO SPANDEX, so are harsh compared to the soft old version and the bottom seam gets very wrinkled after washing. The waistband is a non-smooth accordion band, so are not a comfortable for this reason as well. They have been cheapened by dropping the small spandex component.
I would have ordered some more if the old ones were available, but the phony picture in the Jockey advertisement I got in the mail today showed the old style, but it was just false advertising.
My son has many pairs of Jockey boxers. The past pairs have washed well, become soft and did not wrinkle. These come out of the dryer in a stiff, crunchy ball! Not very comfortable! Guess the material used has changed....
