Jockey Commitment
Often, Jockey supports the local community through donations to churches, schools,
hospitals and community projects.
An example of Jockey's commitment was the catastrophe in Honduras brought by
Hurricane Mitch. Many employees were left without a home and were in need of help.
Jockey facilitated donations from US Jockey factories and provided needy employees
with medicine, beds, home accessories and food.
Another example was a donation to a hospital in Costa Rica. The hospital medical
clinic was in need of several tools and devices for higher quality treatment,
including a device to help remove objects stuck in a person's throat (food or toys).
A few days after the donation this device helped rescue the life of a 12-year-old boy
who otherwise would not have survived.
