I have loved these undies for years - but they disappeared from stores - and now they have disappeared from the Outlet and from online. I was informed that Jockey has chosen to discontinue this style. There is not comparison - please bring them back!!!! Come on ladies - we need to speak up to save the best undies ever!

you will forget you are wearing these
these panties are great for men too. they are exceptionally soft and so light you just might forget that you are wearing them at all. Have never experienced any problems with "ride up" or "sliding down" as others have commented on. They stay put and do not creep.Wish these came in the exact colors as the lace ones for more choice.

oooooooh sssoooooooooooo soft
This panty is so extremely comfortable and lightweight that it feels as if you are wearing nothing at all. Being a male they conform to the male anatomy and I have not experienced any tightness or discomfort while wearing this panty. I also like thestyle with the lace waistband.

My favorite underwear of all time!
The modern brief in Tactel - sans lace - is simply my all-time favorite underwear! They are incredibly comfortable. I would describe them as attractive in a modern way. The cut of these briefs is similar to a boy short, and it has a moderately low rise that works well with modern-fit jeans and trousers. The briefs live up to their "no panty line" promise, and the bottom of the brief runs below one's behind in back so there is no potential for any panty line to run directly across one's "cheeks." They don't ride up. The fabric is lightweight and breathable.

I prefer the Tactel to the Modal Modern Brief because the fabric is a bit less bulky. I also prefer these lace-free panties because on the Modern Briefs with Lace, the elastic under the lace around the waist tends to bite into my skin a little and is a bit less comfortable.

Another comment mentions an "unslightly front seam" - this has never been an issue for me.

I have been having difficulty finding the lace-free Tactel Modern Brief in department stores that used to carry them - I hope they are not being discontinued!

this is almost like wearing a mens trunk but "briefer" rith the perfect amount of stretch. Would be a lot nicer and manly if jockey would lose the front and back seams

Wish they still came in Model
I love this style and these were the only underwear I used- except in the Model fabric. I am so upset that they seem to have discontinued it. I am not a fan of this fabric and think it wears out easily and looks and feels cheap. I may have to start looking for a new brand, which is too bad since the Model were the best underwear out there.
Please, Please, Do Not DISCONTINUE!!!
I have heard from SO many people that they are very unhappy with the decision to discontinue this No Panty Line promise modern brief. The lace trim style is not the same. I have written to Jockey expressing my dismay and have not heard a word in response. (Nice customer service). Maybe they read these comments and if enough of us tell them to keep making these, maybe they will?? It's worth a try....

Best ever! Discontinued? I hope not...
These are my favorite panties ever, hands down. They are comfortable, well-made, fit well, stay in place, and are really panty-line free. They also look, as they say, modern. I strongly prefer these to the same briefs with lace because the lace contains some elastic material that creates an indentation in your flesh at the top of the brief. I am terribly disappointed that Jockey appear to have discontinued making this style and fervently hope the company will reconsider!

Best panties ever!!!
These are the most flattering panties I have ever owned. I am hippy and they cover well. These are the only ones out of the no-line promise that actually don't show lines for me. Anyone know how you get your money back on the other styles that I bought? Since they are showing lines. If Jockey is still considering discontinuing these I hope you will reconsider.
