I was so glad when prints and colors came out for us Queen size ladies. I have been wearing the Jockey classic cut for several years. I love the way they cover and fit. I wear a size 10 and a comfortable but not tight fit. When I bought the prints there were not as loose as the Queen classics in ivory or white. They seem to fit a size smaller but they worked. Just wished they used the same pattern for sizing. Now will they make a microfiber with prints in classic cut for us Queen sized ladies as well?
i have been the same size for years and for some reason this past year the only color that is true to size and comfortable is the light beige jockey underwear....any other color i have bought is not the same...its a tigher fit and very unfortable..i would like to buy the light blue..but because of the price i cannot afford to keep buying underpants...i think someome should check the quality control area because the sizing does not match what i used to buy all the time...like i said i am the same size for years and all colors should fit the same..
I have bought the all cotton briefs for years this is the 1st time that on the classic style I find them to be no longer a soft cotton, they are more of a stiffer feel to them, however the Elance are still nice and soft so I can not figure out why the difference between the two is so great.
I've purchased the classic brief for years, and was disappointed when size 11 was not offered any more. I've also noticed that briefs within the same pack can fit differently, no consistency on size. And gone is that soft cotton feel. Now the material is thinner and not as comfortable. I will continue to buy them because they do not lose their shape and are the most comfortable around the waist and leg. Just wish the material could be that nice soft cushy cotton again.
My size has not changed. In the past new classic briefs came a little larger before washing. I washed one of the three pack and still fits but even snugger. smaller than the ones I have purchased in the past. The briefs seem like they are made of thinner material, not as high quality cotton as in the past.
I very much like this underwear when it fits. I have been wearing the same brand for many years. This is the first time that some of the underwear fits and some doesn't in the same package! It makes it very expensive when 1 out of 3 pairs fit!
I ordered 2 3-pks of classic briefs, all the same size which I have worn for years. Though they are all marked the same size, 2 of the panties were way too small. I have run into this situation a couple of times before when purchasing Jockey briefs. Don't know what the problem is, but wish it could get cleared up. The items that do fit are wonderfully comfortable.
I bought two packages of these. No two pair fit the same although they are the same size. Some fit fine others are too tight. It is actually bad enough that I have checked the tags to make sure they really are the same size. These also seem much smaller than previous purchases of a smaller size even though my measurements and weight have not changed.
I was very happy you started having the Size 11 again, so I ordered four (4) 3 pks. The waist area is sized too small & does not have any give. I had to send my order back because of this. The fabric shrinks after washing & drying on LOW (knit) cycle. I really am sorry they did not work for me. Help? All women are not size 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 & 18 some are larger. You are missing a b-i-g market by not making these larger. Look at American women...how many are "normal" size??
I have been buying Jockey briefs for many years but it seems the sizing has changed. This latest order, even though a size bigger than I normally wear, are smaller than some of the older ones I have that are actually tagged with a smaller size.
What happened to Classic Brief size 11? And please don't refer me to Elance Brief size 11, it's too small. Judging by the other comments, I'm not the only one who wants them back. And if the sizes are running small then please add a size 12.
I have been waiting over a year for the new size 11 classic brief to come out and was very disappointed, the size seems smaller, less comfortable. Waist band is tighter. They get tighter as you wash them. I bought 3 packages of 3. Now what?
I have bought Jockey briefs for years - and I have known and trusted quality. Not so much anymore; material is thinner, quality is bad - not lined up and the worse problem is I spent [$] for 8 new pair, removed them from packages like I always have, washed them and when attempting to wear them, they are now 1 inch smaller. I spent [$] and am now looking for another brand out there to be loyal customer to. You have ruined your nice products!
I purchased two packages of three pairs of panties. One pair of the first package fit. The other two were too tight in the waist band. The second package did better. There were two that fit and one that didn't. How can this be?
I have worn Jockey for more than 20 years. I have purchased in stores, at outlet malls, and online. Never have I been one bit disappointed! While I prefer all white as a rule, I do wear colors as well and find that they do not run, but hold true for MANY washings. The white stays white even when laundered with other clothing. The comfort that I have enjoyed while on my feet for all day teaching, or during chores, and even with outdoor work (I recently built a retaining wall!). So, I highly recommend this product.
I've preferred Jockey for years--they last and feel and look great. This style feels small in the waist compared to my other Jockey briefs in the same size--they don't stretch as much. Having to go with a larger size or different style.
I have worn this style Jockey underwear for over 20 years, because they are comfortable and, for the most part, don't ride up. I have found that the material does not last as long in recent years' purchases, which makes me wonder if Jockey has switched to a lesser quality material. Being cotton, they hold moisture from sweating longer than synthetic fibers, but I still prefer the feel of cotton underwear to synthetic. They machine wash and dry pretty well, although sometimes the cotton loses its shape a bit. Sanitary and incontinence pads would fit better if the crotch area toward the back was just a little wider; this would prevent the pad from sticking out past the underwear and irritating the wearer's skin. All in all, these and Elance, (which do seem a bit wider through the crotch), are the best thing available for me.
I've been buying this particular Jockey cotton panty for years, and over time the fabric has become thinner and shrinks a lot more than it used to, unfortunately. The cut and fit of this panty is fantastic, but after the first washing with real soap and hot water, which removes the sizing, these panties look two sizes smaller. Fortunately I do order a couple of sizes larger to compensate for the shrinkage. Another complaint I have is faulty sizing...I ordered quite a few pairs, and so far two panties are much smaller than the rest, with uncomfortable fabric that has no give whatsoever. I only order white or beige, so the I don't know how the prints are...this is good product that could be great...Jockey, listen to your loyal customers.
I have worn Jockey briefs for 40 years and they have been the only briefs for me. I ordered my usual size, and they are much smaller right out of the package than they used to be. I'm afraid they will shrink to be too small after laundering, so I have to return them. I'm sad to say that Jockey has lost their dependable sizing that I have relied on for years.
It's very odd -- the white and grey briefs run small and aren't as stretchy as the black briefs (which run true to size and are very comfortable). I have 3 year old white briefs in a size 9 that are bigger than this year's size 10s. And, like I said, size 10 is the largest you make!
I thought they would be about the same as the soft- cotton Jockey's I had tried earlier. I found that when I washed them, before wearing that they had lots of shrinkage, and several pairs had small holes in the crotch seam. They are not the same panties as the other ones I had gotten and I have not been able to find any 'soft cotton' Jockey in any of the retail stores. I am sooooooo unhappy.
I have bought Jockey underwear for many years. In the past couple of years I have had nothing but problems. They shrink when washed, the sizes are not true and the quality of the fabric is not what it used to be. I finally went to a Jockey outlet store and got Elance briefs in size 11 and they fit. I will keep trying and hopefully the quality will get better again.
Seriously Jockey? I've been wearing Jockey Queen Full Size Briefs for YEARS, and I come online, and buy a 3 pack in my same size - they arrive, and I put on a pair the next morning. I took them off before leaving for work! The fabric or cut is completely different. Not sure what you've done, but you need to go back to what you had before. Judging from some of these comments, I'm not the only woman who feels this way. I've been your biggest cheerleader for years, and this is the first time I've ever gotten panties in my size that didn't feel right. Any chance you have some of the original Queen Size Full Briefs stashed in a warehouse somewhere??
I am very disappointed. I have your old grey with white band Queen Classics in size 11 which I adore...fit over butt and stomach perfectly. I have been asking for you to stock size 11 again in this style...now that you have...it is NOT THE SAME! Please...give me all grey in the same measurement as the original...you have skimped in the fabric allowed. PLEASE. THANK YOU. Mari WAltz
I purchased 4 pkgs of Queen Classic Brief – 3 Pack Fashion Colors by Jockey. If I had not already washed all and wore two, I would return all of them. Always wear the same size no matter the brand so imagine my disappointment. I am hesitant to even try a larger Jockey brand. Very disappointed in the changes in both womens and mens underwear.
THIS IS SECOND TIME I ORDERED, WHITES FIT PEFECT, COLORS ARE SMALLER AND TIGHTER, SEEMS LIKE THEY SHOULD FIT THE SAME. fIRST ORDER I COULDN'T EVEN WEAR THE COLOR ONES, THEY SAID SIZE 8 BUT FIT LIKE A SIZE SIX, HAD TO GIVE THEM AWAY.
I wore another brand for YEARS that faded on the first wash. The elastic would ripple and fold over; my underwear was always stretched out. I am truly amazed to find undies--no less in young, fun colors and patterns as well as standby basics--that fit so well, wash so well, and are comfortable. Jockey briefs are so much higher quality, and at a reasonable price.
I have always bought department store panties. The cost was right so why not. Well I just found out WHY NOT. These are the most comfortable panties that I have ever own. They stay where they should they are not to short and the waist is perfect. What else could I said other than that price was right.
