Our Jockey family believes every child deserves to grow up with a loving family in a forever home. Through the Jockey Being Family Foundation, a nonprofit 501c(3) organization, we are dedicated to supporting and allocating financial resources to assist organizations on the frontlines, helping families stay together forever. In support of National Foster Care Month, we’re proud to highlight some of the exciting Jockey Being Family Foundation initiatives and events.
Back to School Bash
In its inaugural year, the Back to School Bash, sponsored by the Jockey Being Family Foundation, reached 3,000 foster and adopted children and families across the country. This annual, fun-filled event offers the community a chance to celebrate, educate, and empower foster and adoptive families as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
In addition to providing back-to-school supplies and educational resources, this one-day event offers an opportunity for families to connect with other heroes within the foster and adoption community. It’s a chance for the entire community to come together and wrap its arms around children and families who need us the most.
With a focus on supporting children ages 5–14, all family members are encouraged to participate in this annual, nationwide event.

Chris Tomlin Concert Series
In spring 2023, Jockey proudly paired with nonprofit For Others Collective and Grammy-award winning singer, Chris Tomlin, on his 27-city “Stories of Worship Tour”. This partnership brought together two like-minded organizations to create a greater impact on families and children.
Family Events
Play, Learn, GrowFor foster and adoptive children and their families, connecting over shared experiences can be especially comforting and helpful. Whether they’re lending a handy tip, a hilarious story, or just a friendly ear to help through tough times, it’s always comforting to commune with other families who get it.

Jockey Being Family helps to fund and support opportunities that bring families together to gain not only a sense of belonging, but a community of new friends.

For Families & ParentsWe firmly believe that education and post-adoption support play a critical role in empowering families to build successful futures.
To this end, the Jockey Being Family Foundation, provides funding to expert-based, nonprofit partners who create and deliver trauma-informed resources, adoption-competent counseling services, and training for mental health professionals. The aim? To equip families with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the unique challenges inherent in adoption and inspire those touched by adoption to become more informed about how to address adoption-related issues.
