Jockey Classic Brief
I am satisfied with the product. I have bought them for many years in an off and on manner. These briefs may be slightly large. But that is okay. I figure that with clothes drying they may shrink slightly since they are cotton.

BUY THESE BRIEFS AND BE DONE!
WHY: Confidence begins at the base layer. Been wearing since the 80s. FYI, they shrink just a bit after washing. This is normal. I have a 30" waist, but wear 32". 100% cotton = they breathe well, not hot. Flat seams = they won't bunch up, crawl or chafe--even on a 12 mi force road march! Gentlemen should always be prepared--if you lose your pants, kilt, BDUs or whatever, you're well covered!Write your review here. It must be at least 50 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.

Same reliable Jockey fit and quality
I've worn Jockey classic briefs most of my life. I am 61 now. A few times, to save a few bucks, I've tried some cheaper competing brands but almost always regretted it. Jockey just holds up better over time, offering the right amount of support and comfort. >>> But my question to all men's underwear makers is: what is the point of the flap? Who really takes the time to navigate that maze? Save the labor, I'd say!

No complaints from the man of the house. He has worn these for years and doesn't like any other brand. It's just difficult to find them in most department stores.

Why can't I get the same service at our local clothing store?
For years I've been abler to buy my Jockey shorts at our local dept. store, some times May Co., Bullocks, or whom ever. But more recently I've found Jockey's harder to find, at least a good selection. Was very pleased find them available thru the mail. and was very happy with your prompt friendly service.
I find the Briefs to be of the same caliber and quality that I been used to in the past.
If I had to make a complaint, It would be that many of my favorite products are not still made in America. But, without getting into politics, I expect some things may be changing soon. Maybe!

Size label in current briefs states "large." What number size does this equate?
A shopper on Aug 27, 2014

Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 5 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 5 Pack
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The primary difference is that our style 9995 features a 5 pack quantity, and our style 9017 features a 6 pair quantity. The price for the 9995 is reduced because it features the old packaging that we're clearancing. Hope this helps!

how do the 9017 differ from the 9950?
Stephen Nesta on Sep 4, 2014
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 6 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 3 Pack
Jockey® Classic Brief - 3 Pack
BEST ANSWER: Hi Stepehen, the style number 9017 and 9950 are the same garment. We are currently clearancing the 9017 (the 6 pack) because we are focusing more on the 3 packs then the 6 packs. I would suggest picking up the 9017 with the reduced price. With prices like that they are going to fly off the shelfs!

Jockey® Classic Low-rise Brief - 6 Pack
BEST ANSWER: Thank you so much for your question. Unfortunately, there is not as much of a demand for a size Small as there is for the other sizes, so we have limited the number of styles we offer in a size Small. I have made a suggestion to our design team that we start manufacturing this size again because there is a demand for it. They often do rely on the feedback and suggestions we receive from customers to determine which styles and sizes we should produce.
I'm looking at the style 9017 men's briefs. I do not like the low rise or the full rise styles. I want what used to be the standard rise brief. Is this the style 9017?
Charles W on Dec 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the standard rise and full rise are the same rise and the low rise is signifigantly lower in the rise. We do not currently offer a mid rise garment.
Are these solid colored briefs?
A shopper on Sep 3, 2014

I bought a 3 pack and they shrunk a lot?
Does this usually happen?
A shopper on Sep 8, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi, we do not use pre-shrunk or condensed cotton, typically a garment will shrink 10-14% after the first 3 washings. Even thogh the product does shrink we do account for this in production and they should fit perfectly after they are washed. Please call one of our personal shoppers at 1-800-562-5391 to return or exchange the garment.

They are a size large and i'm a 33" waist which according to the size chart here should be fine. very disappointing for such a name brand. Where are these made?
John R on Mar 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you very much for you question about our Jockey Classic Briefs. We have manufacturing facilities located in many countries throughout the world, and our Classic Briefs are not manufactured in one single facility. Unfortunately, if you ordered a package of briefs, we would not be able to tell you which country they were manufactured in because our warehouse, we have the products segregated in one place as a unique style number, but in that mix, some will have been made in one country, some in another.

High rise briefs?
A shopper on Jun 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I never tried the High rise briefs.

For best results, wear the Jockey classic briefs INSIDE OUT.
It puts the irritating tag on the outside.
In the front, it puts the internal flap on the outside to prevent any annoying "snags" with the male anatomy.
Also, never soak the briefs in bleach. At most, spot treat any stains on the fabric. However, bleach attacks the elastic and reduces its usable life substantially.

What's the difference between a high rise & mid rise brief? ( the traditional white)Are they the same???
A shopper on Jan 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The high rise is the traditional fit. Mid rise sits lower on the hip but not low like a hip hugger on ladies lingerie. My husband prefers the traditional fit.
